List items horizontally?

This is a an extremely nice alternative to dmenu, although the only thing it lacks for me is the option to show a list horizontally rather than always vertically. Is there a possibility of adding that feature to xprompt?

That would require a non trivial and large change to the code, as all the code for drawing items, text editing and pointer navigation assumes that items are vertically listed.

I can change that on the future, but that's not on my priority list, sorry.
