Scholarship Endowments

At Baylor, there is a proud tradition of alumni providing scholarships to current students. These scholarships may be established by an individual alumnus or alumna, or by a class. The minimum scholarship amount is $150,000, creating a permanent fund that every year supports a student.

Why Image
Riley Kidd, M.D.
Why I Give

“I give to Baylor because of gratitude for the training I got, pride in the current students and pride in Baylor and what we are doing as an institution. As I was going through my file, I found letters from the college informing me that I was going to get a scholarship. The letter said, ‘As in the past, scholarships are awarded to each recipient without contractual obligation, but with the expectation that the student will contribute to the Scholarship Fund later, when he is well established in his practice.’ That part faded from my memory until I rediscovered this letter. I have some ground to make up, which is why I started supporting the scholarship fund.”
