Transfer Day at Penn State Hazleton

Experience Penn State Hazleton and see why our campus is a great fit for you!

Meet one-on-one with a transfer counselor to make sure all of your questions are answered and receive a credit evaluation to see what courses will transfer and how.

Sign up for one of our appointments on Wednesday, November 13 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. For credit evaluations, please provide us with a copy of your transcript ahead of time, or bring an official, sealed copy with you to your appointment.

Reservations are required for this event. There are nine time slots available for this event. Please select one of the available time slots below to secure your preferred appointment.

The best way to learn more about Penn State Hazleton is to visit! This event is for prospective high school students or students looking to transfer from another institution who are interested in learning more about both Penn State and its application process. Your visit will include a breakfast buffet followed by an information session presented by an admissions counselor, and then a campus tour with current students.

Reservations are required for these sessions and they tend to fill quickly, so make your plans and act soon. We look forward to showing you all that Penn State Hazleton has to offer as you explore your college options. See you on campus soon!

Campus Visits

Experience Penn State Hazleton and see why our campus is a great fit for you!

Led by our student Lion Ambassadors, your visit will include a tour of our beautiful 125-acre campus, state-of-the-art facilities, residence halls (if applicable) and a stop at our popular Nittany Lion shrine!

We offer several types of visits for you to choose from Monday through Friday (and select Saturdays):

Preparing for your visit:

  • When you arrive on campus: Please follow the signs to Lot D and park in or near the Visitor Parking spaces. Parking is free and a permit is not required. Check in at the Admissions Office in Schiavo Hall, located by the Nittany Lion shrine.
  • Canceling your visit: You may cancel or reschedule your visit online by clicking on the "Edit my Registration" button at the bottom of your confirmation email. If your event is within 24 hours, please call our office at 570-450-3142 to cancel or reschedule.

Virtual Personal Visits

You have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with your admissions counselor directly from the comfort of your own space. Discover everything Penn State and Penn State Hazleton have to offer with topics covering academic programs, the admissions process, financial aid, student services and engagement, and more. Our Admissions and Student Aid team is here to help you every step of the way.
