One of my favorite ways to pour into myself after a long week of staring at the screen and handling client work, is reading a good book, taking time out of my day for prayer or journaling, and OBVIOUSLY doing my usually skincare routine. It’s a great way for me to recharge after feeling overstimulated for awhile. Mood Until Further Notice. 🧘🏾‍♀️ Don’t take it personal..my cup has run dry for ppl and I only have the capacity for me myself & I for a nice while. Pouring into any other people & places but my own leaves me only screwed in the end so I digress with new friends new connections allat bc I don’t trust nobody. At all. Ppl to flaky, unforgiving & give up wayyyyy to quickly than I ever would on anyone.

This week I really had to come to terms with the fact that mentally I am DRAINED. There’s so much going on in my head that I realized I’m starting to feel burnout — between life, work, and content creation… I’m tired 😮‍💨 At first, I was determined to push myself to put out content and be “consistent.” The truth is, I deserve a little break just to take care of me.
