Mascuclinically tested is A COLLECTION inspired by chav subculture, sport fetish and collage artist Pascal Marlin's work. I wanted to work with collage like approach making handmade knitwear and crochet mixing different yarns and elements to each other. Materials are mix of industrially made knitted jacquards and hand knitted and crocheted pieces mixed with sportswear materials.

This project emphasises the idea of taking something from nothing whereby inspiration has been extracted from a messy and "unattractive" urban environment, sourced from a recent trip to Berlin, and these imperfect and unexpected elements have been transferred into knit in the creation of a 6 outfit collection, using a mix of techniques and gauges.
