Dr. Diti Ronen is a prominent Israeli poet, an editor of poetry and a scholar.
Ronen’s poetry won The Art Prize from Ghetto Fighters Museum (2023); The Israeli ACUM Award for poetry submitted anonymously (2022); The Israeli KUGEL Award for Literature (2016); Terra Poetica Prize (Ukraine, 2014) and a few more international prizes, prizes of honor, poetry residencies and scholarships.
Ronen has published twelve full length poetry books, five in Israel and seven in other languages. Her poetry is translated into many languages and is published worldwide.
Beside her literary work, Dr. Diti Ronen is a researcher and a lecturer of Arts, Theatre and Cultural Policy. She has published several books, essays, and position papers in her fields of interest. Ronen was a lecturer in The Hebrew University of Jerusalem (2008-2018) and the head of the Theatre, Literature, and Cultural Policy departments in The Israeli Ministry of Culture and Arts (1999-2007).
Born in Tel Aviv, Ronen is the mother of five and lives in Neve Monoson, a community near Tel Aviv.
