Though abundant books & articles are available pertaining to culinary recipes, food critique, Indian culinary history etc, meal experience research in Indian context is negligible. The objective of this research was to identify critical predictors, which exert influences on satisfaction, repurchase decision and recommendation behaviour of the Indian customers.

Are ordinary individuals, working in the corporate world, also potential candidates, equally capable of giving birth to tainted corporate performance? This study examined the degree of coherence between one’s estimation of moral self and its relative manifestation in human behaviour. The author utilized the Guna framework as a proxy to virtuous personality/moral architecture of self and subsequently explored its relationship with ethical/ unethical behaviour using co-variance-based structural equation modelling. The research indicated that the relationship between one’s estimation of self and its manifestation in human behaviour did not match as expected. Data suggested that individuals, carrying a positive self-image about themselves are vulnerable to engaging in unethical behaviour.

A few of such examples are Mann Gulch Fire accident (Weick, 1993), Tenerife Air Disaster, Bhopal's Union Carbide Gas Leak (Shrivastava, 1987; Weick, 2010), The Esso Gas Plant Explosion (Hopkins, 2000), Mount Everest Accident (Kayes, 2004), Walkerton Water Contamination Crisis (Mullen, Vladi& Mills, 2006), Columbia Shuttle Disaster (Dunbar & Garud, 2005), Trading Room (Beunza & Stark, 2005), United Flight 232 Catastrophe (McKinney, Barker, Davis, & Smith, 2008) to name a few. Discourse over crisis management provides important perspectives that could be incorporated into our personal behavior and organizational infrastructure for informed management of risk (Birkland, 2009). This study attempts to recover the learning that could have relevance in the management of crisis-ridden organizations.
