This study adopts the qualitative exploratory approach and involves eight study samples selected by purposive sampling. Methods of interview, observation and document analysis were used as the main tools in collecting the study data. The data collected were analysed using in-depth reading, open coding and axial coding. The results of the study as a whole show that the two categories of schools do not show differences in the characteristics studied in the implementation of teaching supervision in secondary schools. The study’s findings show that teaching supervision in Excellence Cluster Secondary Schools and Daily Secondary Schools is implemented through the devolution of power to middle leaders. This study aims at exploring the pattern of academic achievement of boys and girls in Malaysia. Methodology/Technique - The study analyzes the data of student achievement in public examination from 2008 until 2014, which were obtained from the Malaysian Examination Board. Findings - The findings showed that Malaysian girls performed better than Malaysian boys. The findings also showed that there were significant differences in academic achievement between the boys and the girls. Novelty - This study implicated the need to identify the factors causing the achievement gap across genders. Hence, strategies and interventions can be undertaken to reduce the gap. The aim of the study is to determine the relationship between e-counseling skills and counseling self-efficacy. This quantitative study applied the descriptive correlational method in order to identify the relationship between e-counseling skills and counseling self-efficacy among e-counselors. The instrumentation involved the use of the Counseling Self-Estimate Inventory (COSE) and a self-constructed questionnaire, the E-Counseling Skills Scale which has undergone validity tests. 233 e-counselors from various institutions in Malaysia were selected using the simple random sampling technique to participate in completing an online survey form. This research was a randomized pre- and post-test with control group design. Through stratified random sampling, 1,469 first grade university students, age from 18- to 19-year-old, were obtained. The participants whose score achieved aggressive evaluation standard were selected, and in a random way, 60 subjects were averagely divided into two schemes - G-CBT and the control group. The subjects of G-CBT received 16 sessions of treatment, while subjects in the control group did not receive any intervention. All subjects completed the assessment for 3 times: Pre-test (1 week before intervention), post-test 1 (1 week after intervention), and post-test 2 (4 months after intervention). (2006), Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support by Greg Zimet (1988) and Exercise Habit Strength Questionnaire by Grove & Ortega (2005). A total of 3426graduate students (2124 females and 1302 males) were randomly selected in one Malaysian university. Data were analyzed using an independent t-test, Pearson correlation, and multiple regressions. Instrumen yang diguna pakai dalam kajian ini merangkumi tiga aspek motivasi iaitu motivasi intrinsik, motivasi ekstrinsik dan kurang bermotivasi. Perakuan oleh tiga orang pakar digunakan untuk menguji kesahan kandungan. Manakala, seramai 430 orang pelajar tahun akhir di kolej vokasional terlibat sebagai responden dalam kajian ini. Ujian Analisis Penerokaan (EFA) dilakukan menunjukkan ketekalan dalam yang tinggi, α=.921 bagi instrumen tersebut. The participants involved in this study are form four students from five national secondary schools in Seri Kembangan, Selangor. The total sample size is 347 students (162 males and 185 females). Parental Support to Further Study in Malaysian Public University survey questionnaire was adopted and adapted from FIHSR and FIPHE questionnaires developed by Mundy (n.d.) and Harris (n.d.) respectively to gather data. Kruskal-Wallis Test and Mann-Whitney U Test were used as data analysis techniques in this study. The results revealed a statistically significant difference in parental support to further study in Malaysian public university based on gender, ethnic, and parent’s educational background.

Instrumen yang diguna pakai dalam kajian ini merangkumi tiga aspek motivasi iaitu motivasi intrinsik, motivasi ekstrinsik dan kurang bermotivasi. Perakuan oleh tiga orang pakar digunakan untuk menguji kesahan kandungan. Manakala, seramai 430 orang pelajar tahun akhir di kolej vokasional terlibat sebagai responden dalam kajian ini. Ujian Analisis Penerokaan (EFA) dilakukan menunjukkan ketekalan dalam yang tinggi, α=.921 bagi instrumen tersebut. Begitu juga, nilai factor loading yang > .50 bagi setiap item yang diuji diperoleh melalui Ujian Analisis Kesahan (CFA).Kajian ini melibatkan seramai 430 orang responden kajian yang dipilih daripada 13 buah kolej vokasional seluruh Malaysia. The participants involved in this study are form four students from five national secondary schools in Seri Kembangan, Selangor. The total sample size is 347 students (162 males and 185 females). Parental Support to Further Study in Malaysian Public University survey questionnaire was adopted and adapted from FIHSR and FIPHE questionnaires developed by Mundy (n.d.) and Harris (n.d.) respectively to gather data. Kruskal-Wallis Test and Mann-Whitney U Test were used as data analysis techniques in this study. The results revealed a statistically significant difference in parental support to further study in Malaysian public university based on gender, ethnic, and parent’s educational background.
