In this paper, we report on the design and realization of HTS filters realized by combining dual-mode cross-slotted and stepped resonators in order to obtain a compact size and a relatively high power handling. Prototype HTS four-pole filters operating in C-band and L-band, with quasi-elliptical responses, on both MgO and LaALO3 substrates, have been designed and ...

A square loop has been chosen as pick-up coil and a direct coupling configuration with the SQUID has been realized. On this scale dimension, the strips connecting SQUID and pick-up coil induce a non-negligible effect on the device performances. In particular, a reduction

The proposed layout introduces a reduction of the device effective area that leads to high design flexibility for micromagnetometer sensors. SQUID magnetometers have been realized using YBCO grain boundary junctions fabricated on symmetric 30° [001] bicrystal substrates. Sensors have been characterized in a highly shielded environment confirming theoretical predictions.

X‐ray diffraction (XRD) studies, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) images, and energy dispersive X‐ray (EDX) analyses have shown the selective growth of epitaxial TlBa2CaCu2O7 (Tl‐1212) films. The XRD patterns indicate that samples are highly c‐axis oriented, and the (103) pole figure points to a good in‐plane alignment. SEM images show highly homogeneous, smooth surfaces with a plate‐like structure.
