Candida species-caused fungal infections are frequent on the cutaneous surface. Eberconazole (EBZ) has the strongest antifungal action against Candida spp., the major source of fungal infections. Method In the present study, the cold method followed by probe sonication was used to create EBZ-loaded ethosomal dispersion. The solubility of ethosomes in different lipids and surfactants was used to choose these components. Under magnetic stirring, the dispersion was absorbed into a carbopol 934 gel. In vitro antifungal activity was performed using the Agar well diffusion method, and their topical effectiveness against pathogenic Candida albicans was compared to that of a marketed formulation containing EBZ. Results Eberconazol incorporated into gel displayed sustained release in an in vitro release assay. Based on the zone of inhibition diameters, EBZ formulation was determined to be efficient again...

A fault in these machines and their components can result in a series of damage causing a fatal failure of the system. This work aims to develop a low-cost technique for effectively diagnosing various faults in a gear bearing system. This research presents the design of a monitoring rig that uses an accelerometer to detect vibration profiles of different gears and bearings in a system using low-frequency data. Furthermore, statistical features are extracted from the said profiles using MATLAB. A machine learning model based i.e. a bagged tree algorithm is trained on these features and validated. The highest validation accuracy of 98.6% is achieved with the proposed method using a train-test split of 80% and 20%. To show the effectiveness of the designed algorithm, comparison against SVM and KNN method is also demonstrated.

This research paper describes a specific procedure for validation of Fenofibrate in human plasma. The mobile phase used was simple and column friendly and was sufficiently sensitive to quantify Fenofibrate in amounts as low as 0.095g/ml. This limit of quantitation (LOQ) was determined as the lowest concentration with a coefficient of variation lower than 20% and the total accuracy of the method ranged from 101.99 to 107.41%. The LOQ of this method is better than those of other reported methods. The calibration curve plotted concentration versus area and was linear from 0.095 g/ml to 19.924 g/ml, having r2 greater than 0.98 during the course of validation. The above method is valid for the analysis of drug in human plasma. The method with slight modification could be used for the drug analysis in various dosage forms.

UPS mediates degradation of most of the MPs, where Ub-conjugated substrates are deubiquitinated, unfolded, and passed through the proteasome’s narrow chamber, and eventually break into smaller peptides. It has been observed that the substrates that show a specific degradation signal, the KFERQ sequence motif, can be delivered to and go through CMA-mediated degradation in lysosomes. Macroautophagy can help in the degradation of substrates that are prone to aggregation and resistant to both the CMA and UPS. In the aforesaid case, cargoes are separated into autophagosomes before lysosomal hydrolase-mediated degradation. Even though the majority of the aggregated and MPs in the human proteome can be removed via cellular protein quality control (PQC), some mutant and native proteins tend to ...
Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic, inflammatory joint disease leading to inflammation of synovial... more Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic, inflammatory joint disease leading to inflammation of synovial membrane that lines the joints. This inflammation further progresses and results in destruction of joints and surrounding cartilages. The underlying factors can be oxidative stress, pro-inflammatory mediators, imbalance and attenuation between various enzymes and proteins (like nuclear factor erythroid 2 related factor 2/Nrf2 and ubiquitin). Protein degradation pathways comprises of lysosomal, proteasomal pathway, and autophagosome (that are carried out in mammalian cells) are regulated through ubiquitin. Ubiquitin proteasomal system is dominating pathway for carrying out non-lysosomal proteolysis of intracellularly proteins. Fundamental processes including cell cycle progression, process of division, apoptosis, modulation of immune responses and cell trafficking are regulated by process of ubiquitination. Ubiquitin proteasomal pathway (UPP) includes ubiquitin moieties which are covalently attached to proteins and guides them proteasome for degradation. Misfolded, oxidized and damaged proteins which are responsible for critical processes, are major targets of degradation process. Any alteration in this system leads to dysregulated cellular homeostasis; progressively leading to numerous diseases including rheumatoid arthritis. Factors including TAK1, TRAF6 undergo are required for the progression of disease and thus contributes towards pathology of inflammatory disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis. This review will include all linked aspects which contribute its major role in rheumatoid arthritis.

Such approach is crucial for high frequency applications. The important parameters such as return loss (with best matching having $S_{11}\, \lt -10$ dB with 35 GHz centered frequency), radiation pattern, diversity gain (DG $\gt 9.99)$, envelop correlation coefficient (ECC $\lt 0.05)$, and mutual coupling evaluate the presented antenna. The main issue that arises in MIMO antenna is mutual coupling. We mitigate this problem by introducing slots on either end of the transmission line. We achieve a reduced mutual coupling even less than -36 dB and it works within a high-frequency range, which is its beauty.

The combined effects of thermal radiation and heat generation/absorption are examined for Sisko fluid flow via local non-similar method. For the radiative heat transfer, Rosseland approximation model is used. The governing partial differential equations of the present problem are transformed into a system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations by employing the Sparrow–Quack–Boerner local non-similarity method (LNM). The obtained equations are then numerically investigated by utilizing the bvp4c function in MATLAB. The impact of different supervising parameters on the velocity, temperature, skin friction and rate of heat transfer is performed graphically. It is observed that the velocity is more for a higher rate of the buoyancy force parameter while it is less for opposing buoyancy fluid. The thermal boundary layer thickness for t...

Modern software development methodologies such as MDE (Model Driven Engineering) use models as core elements. In MDE, the code is automatically generated from the model and model errors can implicitly shift into the code, which are difficult to find and fix. Model verification is a promising solution to this problem. However, coverage of all facets of model verification is a painful job and existing formal/semi-formal verification methods are greatly inspired by mathematics and difficult to understand by the software practitioners. This work considers particularly UML Class/OCL (Unified Modeling Language Class/Object Constraint Language) model and presents an ontology-based verification method.
