On the basis of their life styles they may be classified as biotrophs, hemibiotrophs and necrotrophs. For biotrophs it is mandatory to thrive on living host cell and tissues and often found to secrete a little amount of cell wall degrading enzymes and certain effector molecules for suppressing plant host defense mechanism. Necrotrophs survive on dead host cell and tissues which are killed by them before or during infection. Hemibiotrophs in their early stage of life behave as biotrophs and become necrotrophs on later. This article represents the evolution of biotrophs, interaction of biotrophs, hemibiotrophs and necrotrophs with their host plant and continuum of life styles from biotrophy, through to necrotrophy and ultimately to saprotrophy.

The problem is reduced to a system of dual integral equations. For solving this equation, we convert it into Fredholm integral equation of second kind. Representations for far diffraction field and for kernels of Fredholm equation of deep, or shallow water and long wave are given.

Of particular concern in such applications is the possibility of increased pressure drop associated with electrostatic discharge, which might substantially increase the pumping power required. In agreement with analytical predictions (Kraichnan 1976), subgrid-scale energy transfer is found to arise from two effects: one involving non-local interactions between the resolved scales and disparate subgrid scales, the other involving local interactions between the resolved and subgrid scales near the cutoff. The former gives rise to a positive, wavenumber-independent eddy-viscosity distribution in the spectral space, and is manifested as low-intensity, forward transfers of energy in the physical space. The latter gives rise to positive and negative cusps in the spectral eddy-viscosity distribution near the cutoff, and appears as intense and coherent regions of forward and reverse transfer of energy in the physical space. Only a narrow band of subgrid wavenumbers, on the order of a fraction of an octave, make ...
The adsorption of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose from aqueous solutions varying in ionic strength... more The adsorption of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose from aqueous solutions varying in ionic strength from that of distilled water to 50% NaCl/KCl brine (about 3.5 mol/dm(3)) onto illite and dolomite has been studied. The purpose of this work was to investigate the solvency effects in the phenomena underlying the potash flotation process that is carried out in saturated brine. Based on viscosity measurements, the adsorption results were analyzed in terms of a simple model of polymer macromolecules in solution. Suspension stability measurements carried out concomitantly with adsorption tests showed the ranges of carboxymethyl cellulose concentration over which the tested suspensions either were aggregated or were restabilized.
Abstract A new β -cyclodextrin modified hyperbranched carbosilane stationary phase for gas chroma... more Abstract A new β -cyclodextrin modified hyperbranched carbosilane stationary phase for gas chromatography was synthesized by substituting the OH groups of β -cyclodextrin with hyperbranched carbosilane and was coated on the inner wall of fused silica capillary column for gas chromatography. The chromatographic behaviors of the stationary phase were studied. The initial testing results showed that it possessed good separation abilities for several kinds of mixtures, such as benzenes, acrylates, ketones and alkylchlorides.

Freund that the granite under high pressure undergoes a phase transition from insulator to a p-type semiconductor. This phase transition is a key concept to understanding pre-earthquake phenomena. This effect accompanies with the radiation of the granite in the mid-infrared region. we were able to predict the recent earthquake in the south of Iran by monitoring this radiation. FIG. 1. Materials and methods: In this multicentric, retrospective study, we collected data on clinical, laboratory, and outcome parameters in patients with COVID-19. Thirty-day mortality outcome was compared among patients treated with SOC alone and ULI used as add-on to SOC. Odds ratio (OR) and 95% confidence intervals (CI) were determined to identify the predictors of 30-day mortality. Results: Ninety-four patients were identified and enrolled in both groups with comparable baseline parameters. On univariate analysis, 30-day mortality was significantly lower in ULI plus SOC group than SOC alone group (36.2 vs 51.1%, OR 0.54, 95% CI 0.30–0.97, p = 0.040). The effect on mortality was more pronounced in patients who did not require intubation (10.9 vs 34.0%, OR 0.24...

Water tank is a structure used to store water for supplying to households as drinking purpose, for industries as a coolant and irrigational water for agricultural farming in some areas. Water tanks are classified on bases of their shapes and position of structure. Storage reservoirs and overhead tank are used to store water. All tanks are designed as crack free structures to eliminate any leakage. The principle objective of this paper is to plan and design a Circular Overhead Tank of 25 lakh litres capacity for khadki region. In this paper all structural elements of circular water tank are designed.

In this paper, a novel wavelet algorithm has been proposed for solving second order electromagnet... more In this paper, a novel wavelet algorithm has been proposed for solving second order electromagnetic problems both in time and space domains. The algorithm has been used to solve four different problems, i.e. the transmission line problem, the problems associated with electromagnetic waves travelling in different media, the problem related to uniform plane wave in lossy dielectric and problem associated with the telegrapher's equation. The comparison between the results obtained using the proposed approach and the conventional numerical techniques demonstrate that the proposed technique exhibits better time complexity. In essence, the proposed algorithm possesses complexity of order O(n) whereas the conventional technique possesses complexity order of O(n 2 ). Furthermore, the memory requirement of the proposed algorithm is significantly lower when compared to the conventional technique.
