Different communication and network security protocols, such as HTTPS and TLS, have become widely used in current applications and systems that are deployed in different industries such as banking, insurance, mobile operator, etc. Verifying the security of these security methods is becoming increasingly important to guarantee that they fulfill their goals, and automated verification tools are profiled as the most promising instrument for this task. Automated verification tools can be categorized according to the approach that they use, symbolic or computational, and their prove method: model checking and theorem prove. This article aims to review the methods employed by the different types of verification tools and provide a comparative of the tools more widely used nowadays.

Loans types discussed in this paper can vary from bank to bank and such as housing loans, cars loans, or personal loans. Moreover, this article discussed a different kind of scoring approaches and categorized loans-based scoring level to be good loans or bad loans. Various data mining techniques will be used to analyses and evaluate these loans to enable the bank to grant the loans with minimum risk to the customer that can pay for the loan based on a predefined and approved agreement between the bank and its customers. Data mining techniques and their issues with credit scoring systems will be covered through experiments using data mining techniques and credit scoring techniques using both statistical and advanced techniques by chosen bank credits loans data set for training and testing set.

Currently, this term encompasses a myriad of medium/small devices connected to the Internet. On the other hand, 5G is a key enabling technology that will support next generation wireless communications. Moreover, 5G aims to realize the “Internet of Everything”. Surprisingly, despite the expected relationship between these two technologies, RFID tags have not been properly integrated into 4G and it is not clear if this will change in 5G. RFID is considered as a parallel technology where, at best, it has connection to the core network using back-end servers as gateways between the two technologies. With the aim of overcoming this problem, this paper proposes a 5G compliant RFID protocol that allows RFID tags to ...

Objective: This survey aimed to assess patient safety culture (PSC) in emergency departments (EDs) in Yemen and identify its associated factors. Methods: A questionnaire containing the Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture (HSOPSC) was distributed to ED physicians, nurses, and clinical, and non-clinical staff at three public teaching general hospitals. The percentages of positive responses on the 12 patient safety dimensions and the summation of PSC and two outcomes (overall patient safety grade and adverse events reported in the past year) were assessed. Factors associated with PSC aggregate score were analyzed. Results: finally, out of 400 questionnaires, 250 (64%) were analyzed. In total, 207 (82.3%) participants were nurses and physicians; 140 (56.0%) were male; 134 (53.6%) were less than 30 years old; and 134 (53.6%) had a university degree. ...

Investigation of human equilibrative nucleoside transporter‐1 (HENT‐1) and deoxycytidine kinase (DCK), genes involved in gemcitabine uptake and metabolism, can be beneficial in the selection of potential cancer patients who could be responding to the treatment.AimTo study HENT‐1 and DCK gene expression in HCC patients with different protocols of treatment.MethodsUsing real‐time PCR, we analyzed expression levels of HENT‐1 and DCK genes from peripheral blood samples of 109 patients (20 controls & 89 HCC patients) between March 2015 and March 2017. All the 89 HCC patients received the antioxidants selenium (Se) and vitamin E (Vit.E) either alone (45 patients) or in combination with gemcitabine (24 patients) or radiofrequency ablation (RFA) (20 patients).ResultsThere was a significant increa...

Birds were divided into 10 groups including group1(G1) which received the basal diet (BD) contain fresh oil and supplemented with inorganic Cu (15 mg/kg diet ), G2-G3 received Cu as the organic form (15 and 7.5 mg/kg ) and G4-G5 received Cu as Cu nanoparticles (Cu-NPs) with the same level of the organic form respectively, while groups 6-10 have the same design but the diet contain oxidized oil. Inclusion of oxidized oil in diet supplemented with different Cu sources reduced weight, increased Feed intake (FI) and deteriorated FCR when compared with those received fresh oil. Higher level of organic Cu reduced weight, while lower level or both levels of Cu-NPs non-significantly (P> 0.05) increased it. Organic Cu supplementation reduced FI, while nano Cu increased it. 50 % supplementation (7.5mg/kg diet) of requirement as organic Cu significantly (P˂ 0.05) improved average FCR. Supplementation of organic Cu or 50% Cu-NPs improved phagocytosis, lysosomal and bactericidal activity, however higher supplementation level of Cu-NPs reduced them. Inclusion of oxidized oil with different Cu sources had no adverse effect on previously mentioned immune parameters. Organic Cu or Cu-NPs with fresh or oxidized oil non-significantly (P> 0.05) increased serum MDA activity. Organic Cu supplemented birds with fresh or oxidized oil showed reduced GPx and SOD activities, while Cu-NPs increased it. Organic Cu or Cu-NPs decreased E. Coli and lactobacilli count in broiler chick's cecum. Organic or nano-Cu supplementation in oxidized oil containing diet reduced both hepatic vacuolar degeneration and inflammation.

IR in HCV patients predicts faster progression to fibrosis and cirrhosis that may culminate in liver failure and hepatocellular carcinoma, also predicts a poor response to antiviral therapy. The molecular mechanisms for the association between IR and HCV infection are not well defined and need for further studies for understanding these mechanisms. This study aimed to assess the relation between level of serum tumor necrosis factor-a (TNF-a) and insulin resistance (IR) and DM in HCV patients and to describe the characters of HCV patients with insulin resistance. Patients and Methods: Study included 3 groups of patients: Group 1; included HCV patients without DM, group 2 included; HCV patients with diabetes, group 3; includes patients have DM alone. All patients were subjected to the following full clinical a...
