In early 2002, to provide metadata and full-text of each article of DJLIT, a digital repository was created using GSDL software. It was named ‘DJLIT Digital Library’ which covered all volumes and was made available at intranet for its users spread all over the country but not on internet. In early 2007, DJLIT automated its publishing process by using OJS software and a repository was created with metadata and full-text of articles as well as archive of all issues and was made available at internet. As same articles were available at two platforms, an attempt is made to study key features of both repositories, building-up process; search and retrieval; etc., to understand if repository available on OJS can replace DJLIT Digital Library without compromising any features and what modifications will be required in OJS repository.
