Luxury products provide higher level of quality. They are said to be characterised by inherent scarcity, transitivity, elegance, artistic appeal, and unique design. Luxury is also about brands which are fast growing, modern and highly profitable. Luxury brands convey a story, provide a dream and sell aspirations. The more desirable a brand becomes, the more it sells. But the more it sells, the less desirable it becomes.The concept of luxury is dynamic and contextual. What is luxury for some may not be luxury for others.This paper employs extant literature to elucidate the concept of luxury. Further, it reviews the key parameters of luxury marketing.

They are the forgeries who take the advantage of remarkable value and prestige of luxury brands. Against this background, the paper provides the literature review to shed light on the antecedents that affect the purchase of counterfeit goods.

Needs, wants and desires are inter-related and they are the driving force to act. These needs can be understood by the manager and he can frame motivation plans accordingly. We can say that motivation therefore is a continuous process since motivation process is based on needs which are unlimited. Motivation is important to an individual as it will help him to achieve his personal goals. If an individual is motivated, he will have job satisfaction . Motivation is important to a business as the more motivated the employees are, the more empowered the team is. The more is the team work and individual employee contribution, more profitable and successful is the business. Motivation will lead to an optimistic and challenging attitude at work place.
