A study of the most important loss mechanisms and its effect on solar cell performance was carried out. The trap-assisted tunneling and CdS/CZTS interface recombination are introduced as the most important loss mechanisms. Detailed comparison of the simulation results to the measured device parameters shows that our model is able to reproduce the experimental observations (quantum efficiency, efficiency, Jsc, FF, and Voc) reported under normal operating conditions. Finally, a discussion about a further solar cell efficiency improvement is addressed.

This paper proposes a Transformer less full bridge invert with resonant inductor operated in puls... more This paper proposes a Transformer less full bridge invert with resonant inductor operated in pulse width modulation and phase shifted pulse width modulation for ozone generator, to overcome the usage of transformer in the electrical circuit. Ozone cell is modelled with the parallel combination of resistor and capacitors, and Dielectric Barrier Discharge is carried out to produce the ozone. The proposed model is simulated using MATLAB and the power consumption by the cell is validated with different phase angle shifted and tabulated. The proposed model is up to the level of the transformer based model. The advantage of the system is by using the resonant inductor itself can generate the required voltage level to produce the ozone. And comparison is made between the ordinary and Phase shifted pulse width modulation.
