It has been created to train the social skills and testing the knowledge of primary health care medical students. The framework generates conversational agents which perform in serveral languages as virtual simulated patients that help to improve the communication and diagnosis skills of the students complementing their training process.

That is why decision making pertaining to role assignment in software engineering developing projects is one of the most important factors that affect the software development process in organizations. We should not only consider individual’s abilities and capabilities for better team performance but also consider knowing their personality traits to carry out the most suitable role in an effective working team. Through compilation of studies with RAMSET (Role Assignment Methodology for Software Engineering Teams) methodology some personalities and typologies have been identified to perform certain type of roles, thus helping us build a better, cohesive and less conflictive team. Our methodology based on personality has revealed appropriate and adequate personality patterns for assignment of best advisable performing roles in so...

This paper uses monthly data for Chile from January 1979 to November 1997. The data used consists of foreign reserves, credit from the Central Bank, domestic reserves, imports, exports, claims on government, GDP, foreign liabilities, domestic and foreign interest rate. We find that the interest differential does not have any effect on depreciation, rejecting the target zone implication that the domestic interest rate can be used to manage the exchange rate. We find that foreign reserves support the exchange rate by reducing the exchange rate depreciation, and the exchange rate and foreign reserves follow a negative relationship, which supports the assumption that increasing the foreign reserves appreciates the exchange rate.

By examining how the optimal monetary response varies when altering the effects of the real exchange rate on output and inflation, this analysis reveals the existence of non-linearities when we allow for contractionary depreciations. In particular, an increase in the pass-through coefficient may well imply the need to tighten or relax the monetary stance depending on how contractionary real depreciations are. These findings may help to understand the empirical results where pass-through effects have failed to appear significant when accounting for low exchange rate and high interest rate variability. They also reveal the complications that arise when conducting monetary policy in a partially dollarized economy.
