In this paper, we discuss and simulate a DMVPN phase2 (spoke to spoke tunnel). The implementation and simulation is carried in GNS3 network simulation software.

This study is focused on the comparative analysis of two enterprise grade routers, namely the Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+ and the FortiGate 60C. Their efficiency in terms of data transfer rate versus power consumption is evaluated on different traffic types. Two scenarios are considered: the handling of IPSec UDP traffic and the handling of both TCP and UDP.

It is not possible to speak about a complete security system without also taking into account the... more It is not possible to speak about a complete security system without also taking into account the video surveillance system (CCTV). The reason is that CCTV systems offer the most spectacular results both in the security of goods and people and in the field of customer relations, marketing, traffic monitoring and the list can go on. With the development of the software industry the applicability of CCTV systems has greatly increased, largely due to image processing applications. The present paper, which is the continuation of an article already presented at an international conference, aims to shape the electrical characteristics of a common video surveillance system. The proposed method will be validated in two different programming environments.

This paper aims to analyse the electrical characteristics of the components of an alarm system. The system chosen for analysis is a common one, found in the vast majority of residential buildings in Romania, the choice being made on the basis of the over 14 years of experience that each of the authors have in the field of the security systems.

In this work we aimed to analyze the performance of routing protocols (RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, IGRP) for various services (Voice, Video Conferencing and FTP) that can be supported by a network of local internet. We performed this analysis using Riverbed software.

Riverbed Modeler software is used for the designing and simulation of a proposed campus-type network. Several routing protocols are investigated in the simulation: RIP (Routing Information Protocol), OSPF (Open Shortest Path First), IGRP (Interior Gateway Routing Protocol) and EIGRP (Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol). The study presents a simple automation modality of some processes in the network.

The explosive growth and diversity in industrial and residential consumers has generated major pr... more The explosive growth and diversity in industrial and residential consumers has generated major problems of the power quality in power systems. Both industry suppliers through the generation of nonsinusoidal regime and consumers with the nonlinear loads cause high disturbances in the power systems. The behavior of nonlinear circuit elements is analyzed in this paper by means of simple mathematical model that uses the multinomial theorem. In order to calculate the distortion of current a new symbolic algorithm is implemented where the harmonic distribution of supply voltage and the nonlinear voltage-current characteristics of circuit elements are considered as input data. The obtained results are compared and validated with traditional simulation techniques.

Classic client-server approaches and 3-tier architectures are not optimized for media processing. In this paper, we present a serverless modern digital media platform for media content distribution based on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform. The proposed platform uses CloudFront for static content cashing, S3 for data storage, Lambda for the dynamic content and Elastic Transcoder for media format conversion. This platform offers reduced loading times and efficient media format conversion/distribution.

They also mathematically modelled the behavior of the components of the two security systems. This article concludes this study by conducting a cost analysis form the point of view of the beneficiary, taking into account the investment costs and those of subsequent operation (energy consumption, maintenance, consumables).

The evaluation is done based on different aspects such as packet delay variation, packet end-to-end delay as well as video traffic, download response time, upload response time in E-mail, FTP, page response time and object response time in HTTP, convergence and queuing delay. We are trying to find out which protocol suits best for the network we have proposed.

A real time communication system and original algorithms are implemented. The proposed software application eliminates the time spent for finding a parking space, reduces the traffic level and driving stress and last but not least reduces the level of pollutants that vehicles throw into the atmosphere. Instructions give you basic guidelines for preparing camera-ready papers for conference proceedings.
