Printing film is the material that usually often as plastic packaging for the food industry and in the manufacturing process of a brochure. The main problems that often occur in the production process of printing film is a defect that occurs in two parts, the first part is during the rolling process and the second part is during the cutting process. Based on the analysis of quality using six sigma method, obtained values Opportunity Defect Per Million (DPMO) for the cutting process amounted to 16.764 DPMO with the sigma level of 4.13 and the value of Defect Per Million Oppurtinity (DPMO) for rolling process amounted to 4.244 DPMO with the sigma level 3, 62. By using the analysis of FMEA method, the known defects of the most influential by the largest RPN (Risk Priority Number) is the types of defects called scratch which is found in the rolling process.

To address this, the PT. MI engaged in manufacturing producing blades should be able to improve its performance and demonstrate its ability to survive in the competition. It also requires PT.MI to have innovation and employees who not only keep abreast of, but which is also a growing because of the changes. In response to the above, the proposed design of the Balanced Scorecard in PT.MI especially in the production departments based on the vision and mission of the company as a basis for the creation of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) which will be used to conduct performance measurement and strategic map-making company. Based on the collection and processing of data that has been done shows in the form of 16 KPIs that can be used as performance benchmarks and 18 strategic initiatives that can be implemented in PT.MI.

TPM is one method to improve manufacturing performance through an emphasis on maintenance that in... more TPM is one method to improve manufacturing performance through an emphasis on maintenance that involves everyone in the organization. Research on the application of TPM and its relevance to the manufacturing performance has been performed quite a lot. However, to the best of our knowledge, a study that deliberates how the application of 8 pillars TPM (especially in developing countries) is still hard to find. This paper attempts to evaluate in more detail about how the 8 pillars of TPM are applied in Indonesia and their impact on manufacturing performance. This research is a pilot study with a target of 50 companies. From the results of data collection, only 22 companies (44%) are eligible to process. Data processing was performed using SPSS and Smart PLS tools. From the validity and reliability tests, it can be seen that all items/indicators for TPM pillars are valid and reliable with correlation value (R) of 0.614 - 0.914 and with Cronbach's alpha equal to 0.753. As for the Manufacturing Performance construct, the Delivery indicator was not valid. In overall, the model is reliable with Cronbach's alpha of 0.710. From the results of Confirmatory Factors Analysis (CFA) for TPM, it can be seen that four indicators (pillars) are highly significant while four other indicators are less significant. For MP, three indicators are significant, and two are not significant. In general, the structural model of the relationship between TPM and MP is relatively strong and positive with values R = 0.791, and R squared = 0.626. This means that the TPM Pillars can explain 62.6% MP variability construct variable, while the other 37.4% can be explained by unrelated variables.

Mesin tersebut berfungsi sebagai alat bantu mengisi cairan kedalam botol sehingga memudahkan pekerja dalam hal pengisian. Mesin filling adalah mesin yang digunakan untuk mengisi produk berupa cairan atau liquid. Mesin ini digunakan untuk mengisi cairan ke dalam botol kemasan plastik yang berupa sirup, kecap, minyak sayur dan sambal. Seiring dengan meningkatnya kebutuhan terhadap bahan pangan dengan kemasan pun meningkat. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dibutuhkan pengembangan mesin filling cairan untuk mempersingkat waktu produktivitas pengisian.

The study was conducted on an open floor at the Faculty of Engineering, Muhammadiyah University Prof. DR HAMKA in Jakarta, Indonesia between August – September 2018 using two solar stills made of 2 mm stainless steel (420 mm x 305 mm) covered with 3 mm glass with a slope of 30 degrees. Iron sand was taken from Glagah beach, Kulonprogo in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. One solar still contained 20 mm height of iron sand with 15 mm height of water, while the other one contained 20 mm of water without iron sand and was used as a control. The experiment results showed that the efficiency of solar still containing iron sand was 1.5% higher than the control.

Akan tetapi pencapaian hanya diukur dari segi finansial, untuk itu dibutuhkan sebuah sistem penilaian kinerja yang mampu mengukur kinerja dari berbagai segi yaitu Balanced Scorecard. Dari hasil perancangan Balanced Scoredcard diperoleh sasaran stategis dan Key Performance Indicator untuk masing-masing perpektif Balanced Scorecard. Kemudian dengan menggunakan Analitical Hierarchy Process dapat diketahui kontribusi kepentingan dari tiap-tiap sasaran startegis. Hasil pengukuran nilai kinerja pada penelitian ini berada pada nilai 2,46 yang berarti belum cukup baik. Berdasarkan hasil perancangan dan pengukuran ini diberikan usulan strategis sebagai perbaikan yang dapat digunakan oleh perusahaan di tahun depan.
