The results of this study were found in 37 species of old seagrass leaves consisting of 9 classes, namely Bacillariophyceae, Mediophyceae, Coscinodiscophyceae, Euglenoidea, Cyanophyceae, Dinophyceae, Chorophyceae, Chrysophyta and Xexanauplia. While in young seagrass leaves there are 33 species consisting of 8 classes, namely Bacillariophyceae, Mediophyceae, Coscinodiscophyceae, Euglenoidea, Cyanophceae, Chrysophyta, Dinophyceae and Hexanauplia. The highest periphyton composition in old and young leaves was in the Bacillariophyceae class with a percentage of 67% on young leaves and 70.9% on old leaves. The diversity index value obtained showed moderate distribution criteria because the number of periphyton individuals found in old and young leaves was relatively the same.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan kerapatan lamun, kelimpahan megagastropoda dan hubungan antara tingkat kepadatan lamun dengan kelimpahan megagastropoda di Perairan Pulau Miang Besar Kecamatan Sangkulirang Timur Kabupaten Kutai. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling, dan menggunakan analisis regresi linier untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kerapatan lamun dengan kelimpahan gastropoda yang ditemukan di lokasi penelitian. Kuadran Transek dibentangkan lurus ke arah laut dengan 3 kali pengulangan di setiap stasiun. Hasil penelitian ditemukan 4 jenis lamun yaitu, Cymodocea serrulata, Enhalus acoroides, Halodule Ponifilia dan Thalassia hemprichii dengan kategori kerapatan sangat padat. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Januari 2021 di perairan Pulau Balikukup, Kecamatan Batu Putih, Kabupaten Berau. Prosedur penelitian meliputi penentuan lokasi, periode pengambilan sampel, pengamatan lamun, identifikasi jenis lamun, pengukuran parameter air, dan parameter fisik-kimia substrat. The sampling of seagrass and fish were done in seagrass beds associated with mangrove (ST1) and coral reef (ST2). Sampling period was executed from May 2011 to May 2017. Sampling was done on the lowest tide with a six-month interval. Seagrass sampling was carried out using line transect, and fish sampling was performed using set net (belat local name) operated by local fisherman. The purpose of this study was to determine the distribution of nitrate and phosphate content in water and sediment in the Tanjung Limau estuary, Bontang City, East Kalimantan. Sampling of water and sediment was carried out at 4 research stations using a random method which was then analyzed at the Water Quality Laboratory and Soil Science Laboratory of PPLH Mulawarman University. The results showed that the nitrate content in the water was 0.012-0.018mg/L, 4.20-9.09% in the sediment, while the phosphate in the water was 0.014-0.077 mg/L and the phosphate in the sediment was 0.021-0.030%. The results of the analysis show that the nitrate and phosphate content is higher at Station 1 and lower towards Station 4. There is a significant difference between the nitrate and phosphate content in the water and in the sediment. This study aims to determine the Seagrass Fish Community in the waters of Kewallan Island, Bontang City, East Kalimantan. Based on sampling, it was repeated three times at 1 station. Analysis of fish data from research results using species composition (Ks), diversity index (H’), uniformity index (E) and dominance index (C). The results of the study found 775 individual fish from 28 species. Pentapodus bifasciatus is a common species with a relative abundance of (37.68%). Physical - chemical parameters consisting of temperature, turbidity, salinity, brightness, current speed, pH, DO, nitrate and phosphate are classified as very good for organisms that live in these waters. At the research station, six types of seagrass were found, namely Thalassia hemprichii, Halopila ovalis, Halopila minor, Enhalus acoroides, Syringodium isoetifolium, Cymodocea rotundata.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman, keseragaman dan dominasi jenis plankton yang terdapat pada zonasi sebelum padang lamun, padang lamun dan sesudah padang lamun di perairan Tihi- Dusun tihi, Kota Bontang, Kalimantan Timur. Pengambilan sampel lamun dan air dilakukan di 4 stasiun penelitian dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling yang kemudian diidentifikasi di Laboratorium Keanekaragaman Hayati Perairan Fakultas Kedokteran Unmul. Hasil penelitian ditemukan 4 spesies lamun yaitu Enhalus acoroides, Thalassia hemprichii, Halophila ovalis dan Cymodocea rotundata. Ada 40 jenis plankton yang termasuk dalam 7 kelas. Komposisi plankton yang mendominasi adalah dari kelas Bacillariophyceae dengan persentase 53% dan zooplankton terbesar adalah Maxillopoda dengan nilai persentase 6%. The data was collected through a survey, completed by direct observation in the field and interviews with the respondents. The applied data analysis includes analysis of costs, revenues, income and business feasibility. The results showed the average revenue earned from amplang processing business is Rp. 7.040,000 per month or Rp. 70.400,000 per year, while the average cost of Rp. 4.623.167 per month or Rp. 46.238.333/year. The average income was found as much as Rp. 2.416.167/month or Rp. 24,161,667 / year. The value of the balance of revenue and cost (R/C) in the business of processing amplang is 1.54, which means that the amplang processing business is able to provide a gain of 1.54 of the cost. This catch is a valuable commodity in the market. The possibility of exploiting shrimp resources will be jeopardized in an effort to conserve, utilize, and catch high intensity shrimp. This study was conducted from September to December 2022 with the aim of determining population dynamics parameters using the frequency method from carapace length data. A mini trawl was used to collect shrimp in the waters of Samboja Kuala, Kutai Kartanegara Regency. Male and female jinga shrimp have a ratio of 1:2,43. Furthermore, for male and female shrimp, the growth rate coefficient (K) was 0,580 and 14,00, respectively, and the approximated natural length (L) was 145.82 and 160.81.
