E conversando com o Vicente, pensamos em colocá-lo aqui no site do ponto, para mais pessoas terem acesso. E uma dica inicial: se você realmente está disposto a ler esse texto, imprima-o, porque é muito longo para lê-lo na tela. E ainda poderá ler novamente alguns pontos que achar necessário e emprestar pros colegas. Antes de qualquer coisa, deixem eu me apresentar rapidamente. Sou carioca da Ilha do Governador, mas moro em BH há 11 anos, onde desde então sou fiscal de ISS. De 1992 a 1994 estudei e prestei alguns concursos, sendo aprovado para Fiscal de ISS-BH, ICMS-MG e TFC, e reprovado no AFTN-94 (hoje AFRF). Optei por vir pro ISS-BH. Nesse AFTN fui reprovado por uma questão, e como houve fraude no mesmo e umas 50 pessoas foram eliminadas do concurso, fiquei esperando revoltado que chamassem mais gente, o que não aconteceu. E tomei a decisão mais burra da minha vida: parar de estudar para concursos, e contentar-me com o pouco que já havia conquistado. Esse concurso sempre ficou entalado na minha garganta, e ficava pelos cantos dando a desculpa da fraude, sempre que me perguntavam por que não estudava mais e/ou não tinha passado nele. Sofria a doença da desculpite, que falarei dela mais para frente. Veio o concurso de setembro de 94 e eu nem dei bola para ele, e vi muitos que tinham tirado muito menos que eu no meu concurso de março serem aprovados. Vi vários colegas e amigos, muitos desses que não foram aprovados nos concursos que eu fui, passarem depois para concursos muito melhores e levarem uma vida muito mais confortável que a minha. Em 1998 resolvi voltar aos estudos, e estudei muito durante uns 6 a 8 meses, mas sem método algum, fazendo tudo errado, como constataria depois. E abortei tudo, parei novamente sem ter feito uma prova sequer. Voltei a minha vida de doente da desculpite. Até que em meados de 2005, cansado de ver todos ganhando mais do que eu, resolvi me curar da desculpite da única forma possível: passando num bom concurso, como AFRF ou algum fiscal de ICMS. E retomei a vida de concurseiro com tudo, mas dessa vez resolvi fazer diferente de antes, resolvi ser metódico e rigoroso nos meus estudos, e adotei várias estratégias de estudos. Antes que apareça alguém me acusando de plágio, digo que a grande maioria dos conselhos que aqui darei obtive lendo excelentes livros sobre técnicas de estudos, como os dois livros do Willian Douglas, o da Lia Salgado e o ótimo livro do Alex Viegas chamado " Manual de um Concurseiro ". E fiz uma adaptação deles todos ao meu jeito de estudar e fui aprimorando-o. Tem muita gente que acha que é bobagem " perder tempo " lendo esses livros ou um texto como esse meu, que seria um tempo melhor aproveitado se estivesse estudando. Eu digo que se o cara realmente já
