This method is suitable to be performed in an area that provides public Wi-Fi for multi-user, such as Wi-Fi at the UPN Veteran Jakarta Electrical Engineering Laboratory. The survey results show that there are still many issues experienced by users regarding the availability, accessibility, retainability, and stability of the network and application services accessed. The multimedia application services analyzed in this study are WhatsApp Desktop Call (voice traffic), Zoom Meeting (video traffic), and the UPNVJ LeADS web (data traffic). The tools used for data collection are Wireshark, PRTG, router admin panel web, and Command Prompt. IMS memungkinkan pendekatan layanan yang dikendalikan oleh lalu lintas packet switched dan SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) dengan memanfaatkan sirkuit dan teknologi packet switched. IMS bersandar pada SIP sebagai mekanisme pemberian isyarat dasarnya. IMS merupakan standar baru bagi pelanggan untuk melakukan layanan multimedia dengan teknologi baru, tanpa mengubah susunan yang telah ada. IMS mempunyai tiga lapisan yaitu; Service Layer, Control Layer dan Connectivity Layer yang saling berhubungan. IMS menggunakan arsitektur horisontal yang memiliki banyak keuntungan bagi para operator maupun para user.
One of the critical equipment to support a patient in the hospital would be an infuse system. One... more One of the critical equipment to support a patient in the hospital would be an infuse system. One of the main problems with the infuse system was manual monitoring. Few researchers try to build a low cost infuse system using a low-cost sensor and microcontroller. This paper proposes a fuzzy Topsis algorithm and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) algorithm to choose the best sensor for a low cost to the infuse system, which is one of the Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) problems. Several simulations using three sensors, such as LDR (photoresistor), phototransistor, and photodiode, are performed. By using these two algorithms, it can be shown that the phototransistor emerges as the best sensor with value 1, even though it has the price six times higher from the LDR sensor and three times higher from the photodiode.

This paper discussed a new scheduling model for intelligent resources allocation management becau... more This paper discussed a new scheduling model for intelligent resources allocation management because a scheme for scheduling data traffic on heterogeneous networks that can overcome performance degradation due to excess traffic has not been developed. This scheduling model begins with individual initialization of genetic methods and ends with determining the final value of the results of the process through a cross over process which will eventually mutate individual properties. Based on the equation of Genetic Algorithm, it can be concluded that the access point 1 until 9 fulfill the requirement that the probability does not exceed 65%, and fitness value between 0.0552 to 0.1029. Therefore, this new model is suitable to be applied for intelligent resources allocation management in heterogeneous next generation networks.

As the latest mobile broadband technology, 5G technology has entered Indonesia and it has influen... more As the latest mobile broadband technology, 5G technology has entered Indonesia and it has influenced the demand for the use of unrenewable source frequency spectrum. In Indonesia, 5G technology is being planned to use the 3.5 GHz frequency spectrum to meet the traffic demand. However, this frequency has previously been filled by satellites that were previously in operation which incidentally is the C-band txpd. In this case 5G must be able to coexist with existing C-Band users so that problems do not arise in the future and this is closely related to the calculation of prices and aspects of its economic business. The method used so that coexistence can occur between 5G and C-band users who have operated previously is by reframing C-band tape, by deactivating transponders that have been empty because they have been moved and the allocation of 20 MHz guard bands and an additional 180 MHz released for auction. Coexistence of these two technologies can occur, 5G can occupy the available slots. The reallocation of 3. 4-3.8 GHz will benefit many parties including the government, satellite operators, which is because the NPV is positive by comparing the price of the 2.3 GHz band license, 5G operators and application developers that is because the spectrum position is worthy of consideration, and consumers because of the possibility of affordable prices for the use of 5G networks in this spectrum.

Since implementing the long term evolution (LTE) technology, the surge in data service traffic ha... more Since implementing the long term evolution (LTE) technology, the surge in data service traffic has increased, causing an increase in demand spectrum, which has resulted in gaps in capacity requirements. Wireless service providers can respond to LTE technology updates. With LTE advanced pro technology that utilizes unlicensed spectrum technology can provide solutions to increase capacity and throughput. In this study, LTE advanced pro planning by capacity method to find the number of eNodeB and using the discounted cash flow method to analyze the feasibility of the costs to be invested in the implementation of the LTE. The results of the four simulated scenarios concluded that the number of eNodeB from the IV scenario with 20 MHz bandwidth at 1800 MHz frequency and 20 MHz bandwidth at 5 GHz frequency amounted to 23 sites, with a positive NPV value of $ 271,936.96, IRR of 14.91%, and for payback period occurred in the 3rd year. Thus the fourth scenario is feasible to be implemented.

Cross-polarization is one process that cannot be released inside installation of VSAT antennas for satellite communication. Sometimes, in this process, a user queue will occur. Queuing theory explain the process is done and also calculate the other factors that are in the process. By knowing queuing theory to the cross-polarization, it will be easy to know the efficiency of queuing theory in the cross-polarization. Based on the characteristics of the cross-polarization, user can be known the queuing model that used and performance of the queuing system. The method used so that coexistence can occur between 5G and C-band users who have operated previously is by reframing C-band tape, by deactivating transponders that have been empty because they have been moved and the allocation of 20 MHz guard bands and an additional 180 MHz released for auction. Coexistence of these two technologies can occur, 5G can occupy the available slots. The reallocation of 3. 4-3.8 GHz will benefit many parties including the government, satellite operators, which is because the NPV is positive by comparing the price of the 2.3 GHz band license, 5G operators and application developers that is because the spectrum position is worthy of consideration, and consumers because of the possibility of affordable prices for the use of 5G networks in this spectrum.

Wireless service providers can respond to LTE technology updates. With LTE advanced pro technology that utilizes unlicensed spectrum technology can provide solutions to increase capacity and throughput. In this study, LTE advanced pro planning by capacity method to find the number of eNodeB and using the discounted cash flow method to analyze the feasibility of the costs to be invested in the implementation of the LTE. The results of the four simulated scenarios concluded that the number of eNodeB from the IV scenario with 20 MHz bandwidth at 1800 MHz frequency and 20 MHz bandwidth at 5 GHz frequency amounted to 23 sites, with a positive NPV value of $ 271,936.96, IRR of 14.91%, and for payback period occurred in the 3rd year. Thus the fourth scenario is feasible to be implemented.
