Of these, H. macraei and P. eigenmanniorum were parasitized with the nematodes Rhabdochona acuminata and Contracaecum sp., respectively. The morphometric analysis of the identified nematodes is included. They are the first records of parasitic nematodes of fish from San Juan Province. In this way, the geographical distribution of both nematodes was extended and H. macraei and P. eigenmanniorum were registered as new hosts.

Morphologic and morphometric parasitological studies were done. The specimens described were drawned and photographed. In addition, the following parasitic infection indexes were calculated: Prevalence 26.5%, Mean 6.6 and Maximum Intensity 27.
Adult specimens of Camallanus genus (Nematoda, Camallanidae), parasitizing a Hydrodynastes gigas ... more Adult specimens of Camallanus genus (Nematoda, Camallanidae), parasitizing a Hydrodynastes gigas (Serpentes, Colubridae) from Chaco in the North East of Argentina, are described for the first time. The morphologic and morphometric parasitological studies were carried out using diaphanization by lactophenol technique. The specimens described were drawn and photographed. With this investigation the analysis of the reptilian pathologies, the knowledge of which is necessary to make projects, to manage and control the biomedic aspects in breeders, zoos and/or reserves has started. Thus, it enables us to know associated nematofauna providing facts about the biodiversity of nematode parasites of reptiles.

The three fish species were parasited by S. jamundensis, but C. pinnai was found only in P. albicans and L. obtusidens. Morphologic and morphometric parasitological studies were carried out. The specimens described were drawned. In addition, the following parasitic infection indexes were calculated: prevalence, mean and maximum intensity. The two nematode species identified are described for the first time in Argentina and increased the host range cited for the parasite species studied in this work.

Larvae were isolated from peritoneum of intestine and piloric ceca of salmonids. Morphological characteristics of larvae are described with optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy. Morphological comparisons between Contracaecum sp. from S. maxillosus, and Contracaecum rudolphii from freshwater fishes species from Southern Chile and Argentina are given.

It represents the fourth South American species, and the first species reported from Argentina. It is separated from its congeners by possessing three pairs of postanal papillae, and by the shape and size of the lips.

En esta nota se registra por primera vez a R. rondoni como parásito de Pterodoras granulosus (Valenciennes, 1821) (Pisces, Doradidae) en la provincia de Salta (Argentina).
