This study will aim to understand how consumer’s decision making is effected due to the advent of online shopping (E-Commerce) over the traditional stores, what are the decision-making factors that influence consumers to buy products online rather than buying products from the traditional brick-mortar stores? The study is conducted in a particular geographical area which is India. As the country is booming and trending in the Online shopping industry, this is leading to the death of the traditional brick-mortar stores. The study was limited to respondents living in India and who have used online shopping previously and presently. For the goal and purpose of this dissertation, the researcher to examine the consumer decision-making factors between online vs traditional brick mortar stores used a quantitative method through a non-probabi...

This research employs quantitative content analysis to determine the importance given to poverty alleviation and human development by Pakistani political parties on their Facebook pages. Results concluded that poverty alleviation or human development has not been the priority of top three political parties of Pakistan, but if we compare the selected three political parties, PTI took lead in discussing the poverty alleviation and human development on their official Facebook page during 2018 election campaign, whereas PMLN was neck to neck with PTI. On the contrary, PPP gave least priority to poverty alleviation or human development.

Recurrence rate after radical operation is also high. Moreover, the cosmetic results of surgical excision are not significantly better than those of untreated cases. Good cosmetic result is really the first aim of treatment. Thompson (1936, 1937) collected 2 series of cases, 43 and 35 respectively, in which tuberculous cervical glands liquefied and broke down spontaneously owing to the neglect and refusal of the treatment in the earlier stages and compared the cosmetic results with those of surgical excision.

Raman vibrational modes can append the detailed information about the bond length and structure. The refinements of XRD patterns for Bi alloying Cs2AgInCl6 revealed the strong structure distortion with the enlarged octahedron of In(Bi)Cl6 and the contracted octahedron of AgCl6 with the increasing Bi. Raman spectra supported the expanded octahedron of InCl6 and the reduced octahedron of AgCl6 but identified the anomalous shortening bond length of Bi-Cl with the increasing Bi. These distorting octahedrons break parity forbidden transition, modify Huang-Rhys factor, and result in the maximum values at 30% Bi alloying and the same variation trend for both photoluminescence and Huang-Rhys factor with the increasing Bi alloying.

Herein, we incorporate highly conductive graphene as a substrate to anchor polyaniline (PANI) in a hydrogel based stretchable electrode. Graphene not only provides an effective conducting network in the electrode, but also stabilizes PANI during repeating charge-discharge processes due to strong π-π interaction between graphene and PANI. The obtained electrode shows high capacitance of 500.13 mF cm -2 and 100% capacitance retention after 10000 charge-discharge. The symmetrical supercapacitor using this novel stretchable electrode shows a high capacitance of 218.26 mF cm -2 , high capacitance retention of 43% even when stretched at 150% strain, and no capacitance decay when stretched to 100% and then released to 0% repeatedly for 2000 cycles, all of which are much better than the device based on the electrode without adding graphene. Such outstanding electrochemical performance shows the great application potential of highly conductive graphene in conjugated polymer based stretchable energy storage devices.

Literature suggests the significance of media, as this pandemic has forced a lot of people in lockdown, making masses dependent on media for vital information during this global crisis (Kumar, 2020). This study investigated the editorials of leading English newspapers, ‘The Dawn’ and ‘The Nation’ regarding COVID-19. This study explored the dominant editorial agendas of Pakistani newspapers and also drew comparison between The Dawn & The Nation in the editorial coverage of different agendas regarding this pandemic. To address research questions, this study conducted thematic analysis of the editorials of two Pakistani newspapers from February 27, 2020 to April 30th, 2020. It was found that Pakistani English press discussed the agendas related to health, criticism on government, government response, international impac...

This study has highlighted the international media coverage regarding Islamophobia in India & its impacts on Indo-Arab Relations and also evaluated how can Islamophobia in India impact Indo-Arab ties in future. A thematic qualitative study has been conducted to comprehend the important themes and subthemes discussed in the renowned international media outlets. For this purpose, twelve articles from reputed international media outlets were selected for the qualitative thematic analysis during the month of April & May 2020. This study has discussed the notion of the Islamic concept of Ummah, which ultimately led the Arab world to object to the persecution of Muslims in India. Thematic analysis of the content of reputed international media outlets concluded that if the situation does n...

Both composites well balanced each other in the asymmetric device and gave a high electrochemical performance. The energy density of this ASC is 66.6 W h kg[Formula: see text] at 3.8 kW kg[Formula: see text] power density with an excellent capacitance retention of 88% after 3000 galvanostatic charge-discharge cycles.

Current aqueous microsupercapacitors suffer from a low energy density due to their small working potential, which limits their potential application. This study presents the fabrication of a 1.6 V flexible, aqueous asymmetric microsupercapacitor (AMSC) with 83% capacitance retention after 5000 cycles which designed by the integration and voltage balance of functionalized graphene-based cathode as a double-layer supercapacitive electrode and iodine-doped graphene anode as a pseudocapacitive electrode. The combination of electrostatic and faradic charge storage mechanism in this all-graphene-based AMSC enables the device to deliver an ultra-high energy–power density (4.75 mWh cm −3 at 61.55 W cm −3 ) and a stabilized performance even after 2000 repeated bending cycles, which suggests the promising potential of the all-graphene AMSC as a substantial power source for future flexible electronic devices.

However, materials with deep-blue emission and high efficiencies for non-doped OLED devices are still limited. In view of this, a novel ambipolar meta-substituted emitter (TPA-BIPI) is synthesized by combining phenanthroimidazole, benzimidazole and triphenyl-amine units for OLED devices. Non-doped OLED device is constructed by employing TPA-BIPI as emitter which gives deep-blue emission at 442 nm with CIE of (0.149, 0.105). The EQE of the device is obtained to be as high as 4.53% with the current efficiency (CE) of 4.3 cd/A and a power efficiency (PE) of 3.7 lm/W. A low driven voltage of 3.4 V, a reduced efficiency roll-off and a high electroluminescence of 12,491 cd/m−2 is also achieved. This combination of donor and acceptor moieties indicates a strong potential to prepare efficient bipolar materials for OLEDs.

Methods: This was a descriptive cross sectional study conducted at Medicine Department, Darul Sehat Hospital, Karachi, Pakistan from March 2017 to October 2017. A total of one hundred and eighty one admitted and OPD patients with uncontrolled diabetes (HbA1c more than 7%) were included and their demographics, comorbidities, microvascular complications, drug history, fasting and random blood glucose and serum electrolyte levels were recorded. Results: In uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, decrease in serum sodium and chloride levels were observed to be statistically highly significant (p-value less than or equal to 0.05) while that of potassium and magnesium showed insignificant alterations. Sodium level was also observed to decline with increasing pattern of urine for microalbumin. Co...
