In this study analysis of wind speed, wind rose, wind index for three states Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Tamil Nadu was investigated annually. This paper reveals and accounted to use statistical methods to study the factors that have the most influence on the amount of installed wind capacity in each state. By this analysis, we are able to use these variables to accurately predict the installed wind capacity and to gain insight into the promising factors for wind power enhancement and behind the differences among states. Using our best model, we find that the most important variables for explaining the amount of wind capacity have to do with the geographic and physical characteristics of the states as opposed to policies in place that favor renewable energy.

To digitize the power so that a sequence of voltage pulses is generated by ON or OFF of the power switches the pulse width modulation inverter has been the main alternative in power electronic for many years as a result of its circuit simplicity and rugged control scheme SPWM switching technique utilized in used in industrial applications SPWM techniques are characterized by constant amplitude pulses is completely different dutycycle for each period the width of this pulses are modulated to obtain inverter output voltage control to diminished its harmonic content ,Sinusoidal pulse width modulation or SPWM is that technique to used in motor control and Inverter application in this thesis development a unipolar and bipolar SPWM voltage modulation type is given as a result of this method offers the advantage of effectively doubling the changed frequency of the Inverter voltage making the output filter smaller cheaper and easier to generate with this signal triangle wave as a carrier signal is compared to the sinusoidal wave whose frequency is the desired frequency. In this thesis single-phase inverters and there in operation principles are analyzed very well the concept of sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation or PWM for inverters is explain with analyses extended to different kinds of SPWM strategies.

Using Flexible AC Transmission System (FACTS) devices are considered in order to maintain stability and provide the reactive power requirement of the grid and transfer the maximum power extracted from wind turbine to consumers. This paper presents the complete modeling and real-time simulation of wind turbine driven doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) which feeds ac power to the utility grid. Keywords-DFIG, DC Control Link, UPFC, Wind Energy Conversion System (WEBS), Direct Torque Control Technique (DTC)
