There are several factors involved in creating job stress. Shift work can be considered one of these factors which affects sleep quality among the staff. This study was conducted to investigate the effect of job stress on sleep quality of the healthcare personnel of the educational hospitals affiliated with Shahid Sadoughi University of Medical Sciences. Methods:This was a descriptive-analytical study conducted in 2012-2011. All the health care providers working in Shahid Sadoghi University of Medical Sciences were included in the study by Census method. Data collection tools consisted of the demographic information, HSE job stress questionnaires and Pittsburgh sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Descriptive statistics, Chi-square and Kruskal-Wallis tests, Pearson correlation, and SPSS software version 21 were used for data analysis. The significance level of the test was 5%. Results: The results suggested that there was no significant relationship between job stress and shift work (p = 0.08), but there was a positive and significant relationship between the job stress score and sleep quality (r=0.17 p=0.001). Conclusion:The results of this study showed that the employees' sleep quality affect their job stress, reduce their productivity and cause some problems for them; therefore, managers must heed the results of this research and schedule the shifts in such a way as to reduce job stress. They can also hold training sessions and workshops to regulate sleep patterns and manage stress in due course of time.

Self-efficacy deficiency in problem-solving runs through many families. This qualitative study was conducted to investigate and describe how couples solve problems in their families. Method: This study was conducted to detect couples' self-efficacy deficiency in problem-solving using purposive sampling method. Several deep semi-structured interviews based on McMaster model and observations were conducted by nine family therapists and psychiatrists on four couples (eight persons) living in Yazd (Iran). The interviews were performed, audio-recorded, and transcribed verbatim. The analysis was interpreted through directed content analysis methods. Results: Families in Yazd (Iran) made some attempts to solve their problems, but their efforts were not enough, and thus they suffered from self-efficacy deficiency, which included 8 categories. The main theme distilled from the data of 17 participants was self-efficacy deficiency, which included the following categories: avoidance, insolvency, interference from others, ineffective self-treatment, behavioral problems, stubbornness, superficiality, and denial. Conclusion: It is of paramount importance to identify self-efficacy deficiency in families and promote problem- solving programs to increase family stability. In the present study, the main deficiencies in problem-solving were detected.

Methods: This study was conducted by a qualitative approach in 2021 at Yazd Afshar Hospital, in which 10 mothers were selected by purposive sampling technique. A semi-structured interview was used to collect data, and data analysis was performed through conventional content analysis. Two university lecturers determined the validity of the interview questions, and the reliability of the data was verified by a researcher trained in coding. Results: Data analysis identified the base theme i.e. the threat to health, and subthemes including physical and psychological problems of the parent(s). Components of subthemes consisted of physical manifestations, physical self-harm, anxiety and worry, mental self- harm, impatience and helplessness, isolation, withdrawal, and denial. Objectives: We aimed to identify the association between family structures and adolescent alcohol consumption through a systematic review and meta-analysis of observational studies. Methods: PubMed, Scopus, and Google Scholar were searched until June 2017 for observational studies, which examined the relationship between family structure and adolescent alcohol use. A random-effects model was used to derive the overall odds ratio (OR) for the likelihood of alcohol use in different non-intact families compared with intact families (adolescents growing up with both biological parents). DerSimonian and Liard's random-effects model was used to conduct the meta-analysis. All analyses were performed using STATA software, version 11.2. Results: Fifty-seven articles met the eligibility criteria for the sys...
