In this chapter, we will review research that demonstrates that the effects of individual psychotherapy can be amplified when clients risk sharing their recovery with others. The Weekends of Recovery program, sponsored by MaleSurvivor.org (and now by MenHealing.org) is described in the chapter, including the philosophy goals, overall structure, the healing benefits, diversity challenges, clinical challenges, unique aspects of the weekend and post-weekend resources.
