Analysis: This paper is used to analyze the data with the application of a bootstrapping technique to decide the significance levels for loadings, and path coefficients. Method: The structural equation model with SmartPLS was done on 220 respondents of top management of the university e.g. Vice-Chancellors, Senate Boards, Deans of Faculties, Head of Departments, as well as non-academic managers such as Bursar, Registrars, Human Resource Managers, IT Managers, Head of Technical Departments, and Heads of Centres of Excellence. The sampling technique used is cluster sampling in public and private universities around Malaysia. Findings: The finding showed that 50.6% variation in BCM is explained by BCP (β = 0.528, p < 0.01), along with RM (β = 0.079, p > 0.01) and CA (β = 0.164, p > 0.01). The findings also confirmed that both CA and RM have significant relationships with BCP, by explaining 61.1% variance. Result: This study emphasises on the needs of the university to include BCP and BCM in their agenda for its strategic management.

Three years ago, the licensing and business development department installed meter readers at the hawker centres. Currently, water meter readers are no longer available, causing the department substantial losses. There are complaints on the use of bulk meters that the amount charged each month is indifferent. Several water meters in the hawker centres are not working correctly, resulting in difficulties by the authority to process the correct amount of water bills. The hawkers need to travel to the headquarters to make payment, making it more difficult. Hawkers are not happy because they have to pay the same amount though they might have consumed less than others. A total of 176 questionnaires was distributed to 500 hawkers in Kuala Lumpur City Hall (KLCH). Data were analysed using SPSS. The results showed that only one variable, water meter management, has a significant and weak relationship, influencing hawkers’ satisfaction. This finding will give an excellent insight to the local authority in better control of water meter reading at hawker centres.

This time when zakat comes in to help those who are in need and low. Financial education aid is one of the common aids of zakat institutions to help needy and poor students from secondary up to tertiary. Therefore, this study aims to identify the determinants of effective zakat distribution in higher education institutions in Selangor. This research was carried out based on quantitative methodology using a survey questionnaire on a sample of 206 students currently studying in Selangor. The students are the recipients of full assistance from the zakat institution in Selangor. This study employs SPSS software Version 26 to test hypotheses. All the chosen independent variables are significantly correlated with the zakat distribution. Somehow, the findings of multiple regression showed that only good amil and recipient satisfaction significantly affect zakat distribution. The t-value of good amil is 4.731, and at the t-value of the recipient, satisfaction is 3.620. However, zakat knowledge does not influence the effective zakat distribution (p-value .054). This study highlighted the distribution of zakat in improving educational equity among poor and needy students.

Bank staff deal with significant responsibilities, taking care of accounts, money transactions, clients and many others and often work long hours to accommodate the different time zones of major financial hubs. With many banks extending operating hours there is a need for work, life practices as well. Can the bank staff juggle their office responsibilities and personal commitments well? This study aims at identifying factors that influence the quality of life of bankers. We employed a cross-sectional, and correlational research design for this quantitative study. A total of 110 bankers from a few commercial banks in the Klang Valley and Selangor participated in the questionnaire survey. The PLS-SEM analysis was employed, and the results showed that only two independent variables: stress factor with t-statistics 6.138 (p=0.000) and family factor where t-statistics 4.398 (p=0.000) have significant effects towards the bank staff's quality of life. Work factor had no statistically significant relationship with quality of life, where the t-statistics was 1.159 (p = 0.247). The results of this study have implications for bank authority to pay attention to minimizing stress and prioritize family factor among its employees. Future research should be conducted in a qualitative study so that the depth of the stress factor among bankers could be thoroughly investigated.
