Ha sido mal diagnosticada e inapropiadamente tratada, imitando a enfer-medades dermatológicas. Los humanos se infectan al caminar descalzos o al recostarse en la arena sombreada de las playas o sótanos. La línea serpiginosa señala el paso clásico de las larvas, y siempre que exista el antecedente de exposición puede integrarse el diagnóstico. Se describe un caso clínico manejado como dermatitis. Abstract Cutaneous larva migrans (CLM) infection is a ubiquitous self-limited skin eruption, most frequently caused by the larva of dog and cat hookworms.
