Diskusia o tejto problematike, ktorá je rozsiahle publikovaná, sa snaží tento ne.nosný stav zvrátiť a priniesť verejnému priestoru stratený význam, život, pestrosť, vitalitu a vlastnú identitu. Rurálne štruktúry v okolí Bratislavy podliehajú veľmi silnej populačnej vlne bez dostatočného času potrebného na ich adaptáciu sa danému trendu. Vplyvom rezidenčných podnikateľských stratégií sa hľadajú potrebné regulatívy na predchádzanie, resp. zvrátenie daného stavu. Významný z.konný nástroj na zabezpečenie tvorby verejných priestorov je Územnoplánovacia dokumentácia. Komplexný pohľad na problematiku tvorby verejných priestorov vychádza z ich súčasného stavu a ich deficitu.

Projects aimed to condense and expand original rural structures along with new forms of housing create space for a higher quality of life, appreciated for healthier environment due to the surrounding nature and optimal social relationships and home-based ties. The successful fulfillment of these benefits does not consist only of building new attractive family houses, but mainly of the equilibrium of the complexity, quality and vitality indexes of the surrounding urban environment. It seems to be the countryside that provides the space and opportunities for the application of these parameters. What is, however, the reality of the suburban areas of Bratislava? The dynamic growth of settlements, combined with the commercialization of the territory disturbs the atmosphere and the identity of the rural environment. The present paper examines selected urbanistic parameters of public amenities in rural residentia... more The present paper examines selected urbanistic parameters of public amenities in rural residential areas in the suburban hinterland of Bratislava, which has undergone a rapid development in the past 20 years. In an overall perception of a residential area in terms of its attractivity and vitality, the location, type, structural and technical condition of buildings have a significant influence, together with related public spaces that are indicative of the place’s continuity of development, identity, specificity and standard of living. A quantitative comparison of public amenities presents the differences between selected municipalities on the Danube development axis and their causal relationships. This paper suggests the minimum standards of public amenities necessary for a positive identification with a residential area on both the locals’ and the visitors’ part.

Our research focuses on these current issues in the form of case studies of rural areas and an evaluation of their quality. In four case studies in Zahorska Bystrica near Bratislava, a comparative method of comparing and inserting a motive for the use of a green grid in a new residential zone was used.
