Many Entompathgenic fungal species are of agricultural importance as safe alternatives for chemic... more Many Entompathgenic fungal species are of agricultural importance as safe alternatives for chemical insecticides in controlling the various insect pests of crops. pH is one of the abiotic factors influencing the activity of these fungi in both laboratory survival and field efficacy. The effect of pH of the media on the biomass growth of seven locally isolated Entomopathogenic fungal isolates was evaluated in the present study. The isolates in general had a wide pH range for their growth but had maximum biomass at low pH of 4 or 5 and least biomass growth at higher basic pH. Variations in growth among isolates were also noticed. The importance of our findings was discussed in the light of the agricultural as well as industrial applications of these fungi.

Experiment data indicate that: (a) different stress paths have some but little influence on the strength of cement-soil; (b) under low confining pressure, cement-soil is similar to highly overconsolidated soil with shear dilatancy property; but under high confining pressure, it is similar to slightly overconsolidated soil; (c) its residual strength increases linearly with the increase of confining pressure, and the residual strength of CD test is greater than that of the CU test; (d) the ratio of residual strength to peak strength increases with the increase of confining pressure, while its increasing rate decreases; (e) the effective stress envelope of CU test and that of CD test are basically identical.

In our country India. The maintenance of drainage system is handled by the municipality workers. The municipality needs to take safety and health of the workers who goes inside the sewage system. The Sewage system consists of many harmful gases that leads to many diseases. It is very important to know the process what and how the workers are carrying out. The design is helpful in checking the gas levels because the person who are going to work in the drainage system can get very much clarity that where he had to start the work. The health conditions and the worker levels are found out in Lcd display in aspect. The health conditions and worker levels are recognized with the help of LCD screen. When the worker enters the manhole, one can identify the gas threshold limit value to check his health condition. To avoid this oxygen is supplied to the person with the help of pump motor. The signal is sent to the municipality office in the format of message to seek help.
