A strong convergence theorem is established in Banach spaces that are uniformly smooth and 2-uniformly convex. Furthermore, applications of the theorem to convex minimization and image-restoration problems are presented. In addition, the proposed algorithm is used in solving some classical image-recovery problems and a numerical example in a Banach space is presented to support the main theorem. Finally, the performance of the proposed algorithm is compared with that of some existing algorithms in the literature.

Strong convergence theorem is established in a uniformly convex and q-uniformly smooth real Banach space. The convergence result obtained is applied to convex minimization and image restoration problems. Furthermore, numerical experiments are carried out on some classical test images and personal images degraded with motion blur and random noise. Finally, numerical illustrations in the Banach space, L5([−1, 1]) are presented to support the main theorem.

The following conclusions extend, generalize, and integrate the earlier findings in two ways: in contraction terms and in the abstract environment. We provide an example to establish the main theorem’s validity.

Strong convergence of the sequence generated by our proposed algorithm is established by means of some new geometric inequalities proved in this paper that are of independent interest. Furthermore, numerical simulations in image restoration and compressed sensing problems are also presented. Finally, the performance of the proposed method is compared with that of some existing methods in the literature.

We investigated the existence and uniqueness of such mappings’ common fixed points. We used an example to exemplify the effectiveness. Several existing results in the corresponding literature have been covered by our main conclusions.

As our main result, As applications, we obtain some new weak convergence theorems by using our weak convergence result to solve related problems in nonlinear analysis and optimization.

Using our main result, we obtain a new accelerated image restoration iterative method for solving a minimization problem in the form of the sum of two proper lower semi-continuous and convex functions. As applications, we apply our algorithm to solving image restoration problems.
