The measurement of inhibitory activity was carried out by extracting date palm seeds using 70% water and ethanol. The extraction product is then fractionated with n-hexane, ethyl acetate, n-butanol, and water. Then the total phenolic and flavonoid calculations were calculated for each extract and fraction. This variety is one type of dates that is imported into Indonesia and used as processed date palm juice producing waste, namely date seeds. Date seeds can be made into some coffee that is rich in antioxidants and does not contain caffeine. The purpose of this study is to determine the chemical characteristics, antioxidant activity, total phenol, and caffeine contents in coffee of the Red Sayer variety date seeds. Coffee of date seeds is made into powder and then analyzed for its contents of water, ash, protein, fat, carbohydrates and total sugar, besides its antioxidant activity, total phenol, and caffeine levels. Aktivitas MRP diamati dengan meneliti pertumbuhan mikroorganisme dari nira yang ditumbuhkan dalam medium sintetik melalui pengukuran turbiditas. Pengaruh MRP terhadap produksi dekstran diamati melalui analisa kadar dekstran menggunakan metode Haze. Hasil pengamatan baik terhadap pertumbuhan mikroba maupun kadar dekstran menunjukkan bahwa MRP yang dibuat dari lisin dan glukosa dengan waktu pemanasan lima jam dan menggunakan gas nitrogen memberikan penghambatan sampai 50%.

Enzyme-based antibacterial is a natural antibacterial that could substitute the latter antibacterials. Enzyme-based antibacterials have several ways that can be used to inactivate microbes, one of them utilize enzyme catalysis products. The aim of this research is to study the interaction between IPBCC.08.610 glucose oxidase (NCBI accession number MH593586) catalysis product against MurA and EFG enzymes using computational investigation. We confirmed that the gene sequence from previous research is truly encoding the IPBCC.08.610 glucose oxidase. Gluconolactone and gluconic acid are less effectively absorbed by microbes. Gluconolactone and gluconic acid are capable to interact with Cys115 and Asp305 of MurA, meanwhile, it does not interact with Phe90 and Thr84 of EFG. Gluconolactone and gluconic acid can inhibit MurA effectively but not on EFG.

The data of Gibbs energy (?G) value showed stability interaction between ligand and androgen receptor residues. The docking results showed that curcumin and its analogs have potential as inhibitor on androgen receptor. The curcuminoids is well known for its pharmacological properties such as antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-carcinogenic. The curcuminoids is weakly soluble in water that restrict its bioavailability. This problem could be overcome by incorporated curcuminoid into solid lipid nanoparticles (SLN). The purpose of this study was to produce and characterize curcuminoidsextract loaded solid lipid nanoparticles (curcuminoids-SLN) fromC. xanthorrhiza. The curcuminoids-SLN was prepared using different composition of curcuminoid extract, surfactant and lipid. It was produced by using homogenization-ultra sonication methods. This research was aimed to study the affinity and interaction of curcumin and its analogs as compettitive inhibitor to androgen hormon before working in vitro/in vivo research. Curcumin and its analogs were transformed into 3D structure, then docked to androgen receptor (3B67). The data of Gibbs energy (?G) value showed stability interaction between ligand and androgen receptor residues. The docking results showed that curcumin and its analogs have potential as inhibitor on androgen receptor. Based on results ?G score, analog 4 (1,7-bis-(3,4-dihydroxy-phenyl)-hepta-1,6-diene-3,5-dione) has highest potential as the inhibitor for androgen receptor.
