Children and adolescents with epidermolysis bullosa have been reported to experience psychosocial problems in addition to the symptoms associated with epidermolysis bullosa. Although children and adolescents with epidermolysis bullosa commonly have psychiatric symptoms, limited research has been conducted on the psychiatric treatment options. In this case report, psychiatric treatment and the safe and effective use of methylphenidate in the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in an adolescent with epidermolysis bullosa will be discussed.

Methods: A questionnaire was applied to students who were in Mustafa Kemal University Medical School in 2013-2014 semesters about smoking behavior, age of onset, thought of quitting, attitudes against, nicotine addiction, use of alcohol and other drugs. Results: Of the 712 students 54.5% (388) were male, while 45.5% (324) were female and overall smoking rate was 25.6%. The average age of smoking initiation was 17.7 ± 2.8 years. The overall smoking rates are increasing every year of school. 40.1% (73) of smokers reported the smoke in the hospital, while 33.5% (61) of them smoke only in the separated area. Almost half of the smokers (51.6%, 94) had very low, 19.2% (35) low, 8.8% (16) moderate, 14.3% (26) high, and 6% (11) very high level of nicotine dependency. In 2007 alone, Turkey had approximately 640,000 children of primary school age who were out of school, and around 60% of those were girls (UNESCO, 2010). For this study, "Haydi Kizlar Okula", which was one of the biggest and the most effective education campaigns implemented in Turkey, is analyzed to present a systematic evaluation of Turkey's current efforts to increase gender parity in access to education via this campaign. The results of our analysis show that although Turkey is making strides toward closing the gender gap in primary school participation, it is important to extend this effort without losing momentum, especially in the areas where gender disparity in access to education is the highest. Hence, campaigns devoted to female education through collaboration between the Turkish government and national o...

Although 78% of the atmosphere by volume is consisted of molecular nitrogen, this huge amount is not available for plants, animals or human. Only the bacteria that have nitrogenase enzyme can reduce atmospheric nitrogen and thus they called as a “nitrogen fixers”. Nitrogen fixers reduce molecular nitrogen to amino acids and protein through ammonia (Fritsche, 1990; Lindemann and Glower, 2003). Nitrogen fixation process realizes either by free-living, associative or symbiotic nitrogen fixers. In symbiotic relation microorganism infects the plant root through infection thread and lives in the nodule forming structure. Afterwards plant supply component of nitrogenase and organic compounds to microorganism whereas microorganism supply reduced nitrogen to plant. Associative microorganisms are not infecting to plant however they colonize in rhizosphere and use of root exudates to successful nitrogen fixati...

The population of the research was consisted of coaches employed at Province Directorate of Youth and Sports (from 81 cities). The case study of the research was made up by a total of 360 coaches (73 female coaches and 287 male coaches out of 31 different sports branches) who were working actively in 38 city centers and were selected with random sampling method. As a result, we could not find any significant difference between resilience levels of the participant coachs and sex, marital status, being a coach of team sports or individual sports. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the modern luxury consumption experiences from a wider perspective rather than focusing on the traditional luxury consumption as a signifier of social status. The study adopts an interpretative and exploratory approach to explain in detail the contribution of the luxury consumption of consumers to the construction of self. Among the qualitative research methods, the method of keeping a diary, which sincerely transmits the processes, relations and perceptions in the daily world of the consumers was applied to the study [1]. The consumer diaries enable a ground to understand the complex structure of luxury experiences as a loop of luxury which is an indispensable part of the daily life of consumers. To achieve maximum diversity 16 participants from different age, occupation and education fields are selected. The consumer diaries are analyzed by using the inductive categorization process [2] and constant comparative method [3]. The research results are classified the luxury experiences under three categories indispensably related with processes and conditions of the self. The findings of the work are related with the present theories on self yet they pose a transition from vanity consumption, to which the perception of luxury bases, to temporary and abstract concept of consumption.

The model consists of three broad constructs 1) individual characteristics and experiences, 2) behavior specific cognitions and affect, and 3) behavioral outcomes.
