This study involves six independent lifting variables Handle, Box size, Worker, Vertical distance, Weight, Horizontal position. The selected response/dependent variable is heart rate. Using the Taguchi L18 Orthogonal array (OA) was applied to evaluate the effect of these lifting parameters and plots of raw and signaltonoise data used for compute the significance and their effect on the response parameter. The analysis of variance (ANOVA) has been used to evaluate an optimal result of the parameter. The conformation experiments have validated an optimal level of variable.
