The study is based on a survey sent to 142 Swedish and Finnish venture capitalists, with a response rate of 63% (90 responses). Our results

Because Atlantic salmon Salmo salar fry are relatively expensive to rear, we compared the efficacies of two embryo-stocking methods and one fry-stocking method in producing age-0 Atlantic salmon parr in the Salmon River, New York. As measured by resulting parr densities, there were no differences in survival rates between embryos stocked with and without protective hatching boxes; the mean survival of embryo-stocked fish to late summer was less than 0.01%. Fry stocking produced significantly greater densities of late-summer parr than did embryo stocking, with site-specific survival ranging up to 8%; the mean survival of fry was 2%. Considering the hatchery costs of rearing each life stage, the labor involved in stocking, and the resulting late-summer parr abundances, we recommend planting fry rather than embryos as a method of reintroducing Atlantic salmon. Additional studies are needed to evaluate the success of stocking older life stages of Atlantic salmon in the Salmon River, although factors other than juvenile survival are probably important in establishing and maintaining a spawning population.

Results reveal in low virtual teams the moderating effects of task interdependence on the OCBP–team performance relationship are positive; however, these effects are reversed in high virtual teams. Using social presence and task–technology fit theories, our results indicate that task context affects how OCBP impacts team performance, particularly across different levels of team virtuality. The implications for research on OCB and the management of virtual teams are discussed.

Immunohistochemical studies of human fetuses (6–33 weeks gestation) showed that α2HS glycoprotein and fetuin have similar distributions in developing brain and several other tissues, e.g., bone, kidney, gonads, gastrointestinal tract, respiratory and cardiovascular systems. There were notable differences in the liver and thymus in the distribution of the two proteins. Fetuin and α2HS glycoprotein are present in plasma and cerebrospinal fluid of both human and sheep fetuses; their concentrations are reciprocally related: in human plasma and cerebrospinal fluid α2HS glycoprotein concentration is high and fetuin low; the reverse is the case in sheep fetuses. Estimates of the concentration of α2HS glycoprotein in human fetal cerebrospinal fluid and plasma were obtained. It is suggested that α2HS glycoprotein may play a role in developing tissues, especially in the human fetus, similar to that of fetuin in other species.

To this end, we exploit a second-order magnetic resonance of the so-called fishnet structure. The low-loss nature of the employed magnetic resonance, together with the effect of the interacting adjacent layers, results in a figure of merit as high as 3.34. A wide spectral range of negative index is achieved, covering the wavelength region between 620 and 806 nm with only two different designs.
