La symptomatologie tumorale est ici au premier plan, il n'existe pas d'antecedent traumatique. A l'etude de la litterature on retrouve 12 publications rapportant une localisation a la main d'une osteochondromatose dont 5 au niveau des articulations interphalangiennes. L'accent est mis sur la necessite d'un diagnostic anatomopathologique et d'une intervention precoce afin d'eviter une destruction articulaire.
The serological and lysotypical properties of 28 strains of X. albilineans originating from diffe... more The serological and lysotypical properties of 28 strains of X. albilineans originating from different geographic zones were analysed. Using the indirect immunofluorescence technique with 3 anti X. albilineans immunsera, the existence of three serovars was shown. The isolation of lytic bacteriophages from the soil enabled us to classify the bacterial strains into 6 lysovars. A correspondance between serovars and lysovars was revealed. These results show a variability of the X. albilineans species, and enable an analysis of the structure of its populations to be proposed, especially that of Tropical Africa.
Subtle modulation of antibody-binding properties by protein engineering often lies with an accura... more Subtle modulation of antibody-binding properties by protein engineering often lies with an accurate structural and energetic description of how an antigen is recognised. Thus, with the intent to increase the affinity and add a bias in favour of natural estradiol compared with its chemically modified immunogen, we have determined the crystal structure of two anti-estradiol monoclonal antibodies, 10G6D6 and 17E12E5. Although generated against the same estradiol derivative, these antibodies share little sequence identity, which is reflected in dissimilar binding pockets and in different positioning of the steroid. In both antibodies the characteristic 17-hydroxyl group is buried deeply at the bottom of hydrophobic pockets and stabilised by hydrogen bonds. Apart from this similarity, the steroid is oriented differently in the respective binding pockets. The high specificity of both antibodies has been mapped out, and even closely related steroids show low cross-reactivity. The structural studies of the complex formed between 10G6D6 and 6-CMO-estradiol have identified contacts between the 6-CMO coupling linker and an arginine residue from the heavy chain CDR2 segment. This segment is now being targeted by random mutagenesis to select mutants with a preference for natural estradiol compared to the branched hapten.

The method does not need topographical correction and can be applied without knowledge of the distance between the geophone and the shot point.These results having been obtained, the commonly accepted point of view is upset: instead of looking for two points on the surface corresponding to one point of the refractor, we try to etablish, starting with only one point from the surface, the two corresponding points from the top of the refractor.This method can be applied to isolated points and does not demand interpretative hypotheses of any kind, excluding the velocity evaluation of the overburden and of the refractor.The necessary calculations can be easily executed by means of a digital computer to which the dromocrone times and the distances between the geophones must be given.
