The Padang Batung Sub-district area experienced land damage which was characterized by the distribution of critical land area reaching half of the area. The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of erosion hazards that occur in Padang Batung Sub-district. This study used a terrain unit map as the basis for the sample analysis unit. The number of samples in this study was 20 samples using the purposive random sampling method. The data analysis used is in the form of the Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE) equation which can predict the level of erosion hazard through several parameters in the study area. The results showed that the erosion hazard level in Padang Batung Sub-district was dominated by severe criteria with an affected area of 74 km2 with an average erosion rate of 345.27 tons/ha/yr. Analysis of temperature changes is needed to determine the effect of increasing built-up areas and decreasing vegetation cover. The surface temperature can be detected and analyzed using satellite imagery. The study aimed to analyze the built-up area and vegetation density index and their effect on changes in surface temperature in Banjarmasin City from 2015 to 2019. We employed remote sensing and surveys to monitor and detect regional changes in urban areas due to rapid development. GLS is one of the efforts to make schools into learning organizations whose citizens are literate... more GLS is one of the efforts to make schools into learning organizations whose citizens are literate, but in this new normal era, school literacy activities carried out at SMA Negeri 3 Banjarmasin are quite hampered, so that it can make students reading interests decrease. The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation of GLS in the new normal era at SMA Negeri 3 Banjarmasin. The research method used in this study uses a descriptive quantitative approach. Questionnaires were distributed to 36 teachers at SMA Negeri 3 Banjarmasin. The results of the research conducted indicate that the total score obtained from filling out 36 questionnaires is 1.869, so an average value of 51,9 is obtained, which corresponds to the level that refers to the Policy Research Center, Ministry of Education and Culture. It can be concluded that the score is 51,9 is at a moderate level (38-52), so the school literacy movement at SMA Negeri 3 Banjarmasin is included in the sufficient category.Keywo...
Sentinel-2 imagery can identify forest and land fires in underground parts, surface fires, and cr... more Sentinel-2 imagery can identify forest and land fires in underground parts, surface fires, and crown fires. The dNBR and RBR spectral indices on Sentinel-2 images proved accurate in identifying. This study analyzed the index value for burned area mapping in wetland areas using Sentinel-2 imagery data in 2019 and hotspot data from the MODIS data. The indices used to identify the burned area and the severity of the fire was the differenced normalized burn ratio (dNBR) and relativized burn ratio (RBR). Visual validation tests were performed by comparing RGB composite images to check the appearance before and after combustion with dNBR and RBR results. The dNBR value accuracy was 91.5%, and for a kappa, the accuracy was 89.58%. The RBR accuracy was 92.9%, and the kappa accuracy was 0.91. The results confirmed that in the Banjarbaru area, RBR was more accurate in identifying burned areas than dNBR; both indices can be used for burned area mapping in wetland areas.

The study analyzed the spatiotemporal patterns of burned areas and fire density in fire-prone areas in Indonesia. Data of burned areas were taken from http://sipongi.menlhk.go.id/. The website collected its data from NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) images. Data were analyzed using the hot spot analysis to determine the spatiotemporal patterns of the burned areas and the kernel density analysis to examine the density of land fires. Findings showed that the spatiotemporal pattern from 2016 to 2019 formed a hot spot value in the peatland area with a confidence level of 90–99%, meaning that land fires were clustered in that area. The shifting cultivation products provide various valuable subsistence products for Meratus Dayak farmers. The shift farming system is controversial because it is closely related to environmental problems. Shifting cultivation has undergone a drastic change to market-oriented land use. However, there is limited information on geographic data in the form of the spatial distribution of shifting fields. This is very important for the monitoring and evaluation of shifting agriculture. Remote sensing techniques provide an effective way to detect, monitor the location and extent of shifting cultivation. The method used is through visual interpretation of Sentinel 2 satellite images. The total increase in the number of shifting fields is 159 fields or 11.5% and the area of shifting cultivation has increased by 219.5 hectares or 8.17% in 2019. bags.

Penggunaan teknik perhitungan dalam penelitian ini adalah tekni proyeksi geometrik karena sesuai dengan kondisi wilayah. Adapun tahapan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian, yaitu mengumpulkan data sekunder yang berasal dari Kantor Kecamatan Banjarbaru Selatan, kemudian dilakukan perhitungan proyeksi jumlah penduduk.
