Ndudi Bowei
Dr. Ndudi Bowei is a Project Manager of a non-profit organization- in Lagos, Nigeria. She holds a Ph.D. and MPhil in Management, specializing in Leadership and Organizational Change. Dr. Bowei also has a Bachelors and Masters Degrees in law with training in Human Rights & Conflict Management (Institute for Human Rights & Development in Africa, the Gambia & Centre for Conflict Resolution, South Africa), Project Identification, Development & Management (Maastricht School of Management, Netherlands), International Women’s Health & Human Rights (Stanford University, USA) and Gender Responsive Governance (The Hague Academy for Local Governance, Netherlands).
She worked for seven years as a civil litigation counsel before veering into social development and human rights advocacy in 2001. Her strong expertise is in non-profit management, project implementation and management, proposal development, fundraising, and grant administration, women empowerment, facilitating training programs, strategic human rights advocacy and litigation, policy development, research and fact-finding missions, documentation, and publication. She is also experienced in health and environmental programs, engaging corporate actors, government officials, and external partners, building and maintaining strategic partnerships, coordinating and supervising staff, coaching, training and mentoring youths, girls and women.
She is an agent of positive social change who is passionate about justice and fairness.
