Neval Konuk
Neval Konuk was born in Istanbul in 1976.She graduated from Gazi University Art History Department in 1998. In 2006, he entered Marmara University Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Art History as a lecturer. He is still working at Marmara University. Post-Tanzimat, the Ottoman Rumeli provinces, the government accommodation ideology and the architectural representation of power (1839-1922), as well as a architecture study, are for various research for Turkish Architectural Works in the Balkans. In this context, a joint 2-volume publication entitled Ottoman Architectural Works (Turkish Historical Society, Ankara 2006) in Kosovo and an Ottoman Architecture (Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Strategic Research Center (SAM), Ankara 2008) in Midilli, Rhodes, Chios and Kos.
