Using qualitative data from interviews with families, friends, school personnel, and classmates along with case studies, the study examines the role of peer pressure, social exclusion, and bullying in driving these violent events. By analysing the perspective of both perpetrators and those connected to the victims, the research underscores how group behaviour, school culture, and insufficient intervention contribute to the problem. The findings emphasize the importance of implementing robust anti-bullying policies and peer support networks to foster safer school environments in Ghana.
