Perlunya diterapkan model pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Salah satunya ialah dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Argument Based Science Inquiry (ABSI). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kefektifan penerapan model pembelajaran ABSI dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis tentang kalor. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The data collection technique uses description questions. Then interviews with students who have been selected to be research subjects. The data analysis of this research was carried out by means of data reduction, data presentation and verification. The results showed that (1) none of the research subjects read wrongly, (2) errors in understanding were made by the students as much as 37.5%, (3) errors in the transformation made by the students were 21.875%. (4) errors in the processing ability made by students were 3.125%, (5) errors in writing answers made by students were 6.25%. This study involved 90 students from three study programs in education faculty at University Tanjungpura Pontianak, including physics education, biology education, and chemical education, who took an environment-based course. The attitude questionnaire was employed in this research. Data is analyzed using a descriptive statistical analysis technique that employs the percentage formula. Through lesson analysis, this research analyzed teacher interaction in science classes, particula... more Through lesson analysis, this research analyzed teacher interaction in science classes, particularly in physics classes in one of the secondary schools at Pontianak, West Kalimantan. A qualitative method is used in this study by analyzing tape recording and video. This study has four stages of implementing lesson study cycles. It starts with planning lesson design, implementation with observation containing student and teacher responses during the lesson, reflection, and revised lesson design. Video tapped, and transcripts are employed in each lesson. The analysis showed that a teacher dominated the lesson at 62.3%, while students only made up 37.4% of the total conversations during their lessons. Knowing the interaction of teacher and students in the learning process could help the teacher to make improvements in learning based on reflections from the responses of students and teachers.

The results of the content validation of the validator were 0.903 and analyzed using the Aiken formula. The experiment was conducted on 49 students in the small-scale trial and 163 students from three different schools in the large-scale trial. Any 32 physics teacher candidates were involved in this study to take the pretest, posttest, and learning using a virtual lab. The results showed that there was an increase in the science process skills of prospective physics teacher by 0.51 in the medium category. The ability to interpret (0.62), design experiments (0.59), hypothesize (0.47), observe (0.58), predict (0.36) and classify (0.57) experienced an increase in the moderate category. The increase in the high category occurred in the aspect of applying the concept (0.79). Virtual labs can be used as an alternative to online or offline learning to improve students' science process skills.

Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas VIII B SMP Negeri 12 Pontianak dengan jumlah 35 siswa. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus yang terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. The form of research used is survey. The sample in this study was selected through a saturated sampling technique (all members of the population) totaling 100 students. The research instrument using a questionnaire consists of 22 statements, 4 aspects and 12 indicators. The results showed that the digital literacy skills of students in the attitude aspect of the attitude indicator towards online learning were 62%, the socio-emotional aspect of the indicator was 59% teamwork, network sharing 70%, ethics 73%, legal literacy 71% and self-preservation 82%. Sampel penelitian ialah 55 siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Sungai Kakap. Enam butir soal tes diagnostik berbentuk pilihan ganda alasan terbuka mewakili tiga indikator kemampuan menafsirkan grafik kinematika yang digunakan dalam penelitian. Ditemukan bahwa kemampuan menafsirkan grafik kinematika siswa sebesar 19,09 % (tergolong rendah). Beberapa bentuk kesalahan penafsiran grafik kinematika adalah: a) pada grafik kecepatan, siswa menganggap percepatan negatif ketika posisi benda berada di bawah sumbu x (41,82%); b) siswa beranggapan grafik merupakan lintasan yang ditempuh benda (60,00%); c) siswa menganggap apabila kurva horizontal (searah sumbu x) maka kecepatan dan percepatan benda tetap (65,45%). This research is pre-experiment with one group pretest-posttest design. Intact group random sampling used in this research which involved 38 students of X MIA 1 class. The diagnostic test which consists of 14 multiple choices with open reason used to identification student’s misconceptions. Based on the result, the average decrease of students who have misconceptions were 72,75% with significant differences after instruction with the value of Zscore = -3,30 by Wilcoxon test. This research is development research that uses the Four-D model. The developed test consists of 25 multiple choice questions which have been validated by two physics education lecturers, FKIP Untan, and three science teachers. The results of the content validation of the validator were 0.903 and analyzed using the Aiken formula. The experiment was conducted on 49 students in the small-scale trial and 163 students from three different schools in the large-scale trial. Any 32 physics teacher candidates were involved in this study to take the pretest, posttest, and learning using a virtual lab. The results showed that there was an increase in the science process skills of prospective physics teacher by 0.51 in the medium category. The ability to interpret (0.62), design experiments (0.59), hypothesize (0.47), observe (0.58), predict (0.36) and classify (0.57) experienced an increase in the moderate category. The increase in the high category occurred in the aspect of applying the concept (0.79). Virtual labs can be used as an alternative to online or offline learning to improve students' science process skills.

The research method used Pre-Eksperimental Design with One Group Pre-test Post-test Design. The number of research sample is 20 students. Mc Nemar test shows that students misconception has changed significantly after remediation. Positive change on students in increasing solve problems showed by different score on pretest and posttest. The level of effectiveness cooperative learning model type Jigsaw assisted by booklet to decrease students misconception is high and for increasing solve problems skill is medium. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas VIII B SMP Negeri 12 Pontianak dengan jumlah 35 siswa. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus yang terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan persentase hasil belajar siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 5,71% dengan persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 71,43% dan siklus II sebesar 77,14%. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif dengan membandingkan konsepsi siswa dan konsepsi ilmuwan untuk memperoleh miskonsepsi siswa. The form of research used is survey. The sample in this study was selected through a saturated sampling technique (all members of the population) totaling 100 students. The research instrument using a questionnaire consists of 22 statements, 4 aspects and 12 indicators. The results showed that the digital literacy skills of students in the attitude aspect of the attitude indicator towards online learning were 62%, the socio-emotional aspect of the indicator was 59% teamwork, network sharing 70%, ethics 73%, legal literacy 71% and self-preservation 82%. The technical aspects of cognition and discovery indicators are 78% each, 63% presentation. The cognitive aspect of the analysis indicator is 65%, evaluation is 72% and creativity is 74%. Sampel penelitian ialah 55 siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Sungai Kakap. Enam butir soal tes diagnostik berbentuk pilihan ganda alasan terbuka mewakili tiga indikator kemampuan menafsirkan grafik kinematika yang digunakan dalam penelitian. Ditemukan bahwa kemampuan menafsirkan grafik kinematika siswa sebesar 19,09 % (tergolong rendah). Beberapa bentuk kesalahan penafsiran grafik kinematika adalah: a) pada grafik kecepatan, siswa menganggap percepatan negatif ketika posisi benda berada di bawah sumbu x (41,82%); b) siswa beranggapan grafik merupakan lintasan yang ditempuh benda (60,00%); c) siswa menganggap apabila kurva horizontal (searah sumbu x) maka kecepatan dan percepatan benda tetap (65,45%).
