The year 1968 marked a peak in the class struggle at the international level. Students and workers became protagonists of revolts in the West, but also in the East. Few know that Yugoslavia also saw its own student revolt in 1968, strongly supported by the working class but also by important Yugoslav Marxist intellectuals. Here the interview of Dragomir Olujić, best known as Oluja (Storm), who was an active participant in the movement.

The fall of Stalinist regimes and the reintroduction of the capitalism were radical changes for the “socialist countries” of the East of Europe. During a long time (45 years for some countries and more than 70 years for the Soviet Union) this region of the world escaped from the domination of capitalism: the national bourgeoisies and the imperialist companies were expropriated and the economy nationalized.

The book aims to break down certain prejudices that weigh on Eastern Europe and especially in the Balkans after the collapse of the USSR and the disappearance of the "socialist bloc," in an effort to re-think "radical politics" for this part of the continent.
