ABSTRACT Considering in particular the book of Hexaemeron, the author reflects the fullness of the Church according to are Boaventura. In contrast to the theology of history interpreted by Franciscan Joaquim of the time, B. proposes an original understanding, deepening in symbolic and metaphorical language several traditional or modern schemes of understanding history. The fullness or eschatological perfection of the Church is trinitarian, considering joint and indivisible action of the Trinity. This consummation already happens in history, not suppressing the mediations of the Church, nor does it replace the Church by another trans-historical or merely spiritual. The end is now and is open and must affect each of us and the whole Church by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit as we delve into the true knowledge of the Word of God revealed in Scripture and the elevation of mystical wisdom. When in time, knowledge in the life of affective contemplation in mystical contemplation will reveal the future of the Church that has already happened perfectly in the life of the Apostolic Church and that is happening at every moment in history. In turn, Francis of Assisi is the icon or sign of the Church that reaches its eschatological perfection or fullness.

Abstract: The author reflects on the meaning of the mystical body image in the theology of Saint Bonaventure. The ecclesiological application of this image has been a traditional doctrine since the Fathers of the Church and common in the Middle Ages. The Franciscan doctor, in the light of his Christology and Trinitarian understanding, thinks of the Church as a living organism, a mystical body, constituted by the grace of many living beings. The Church, called the mystical body, is the fruit of the visible mission of the Son and the Holy Spirit. Therefore, in this body, Christ takes place of primacy. He is the head of his mystical body, imbued with the presence of the Holy Spirit, who bestows fullness of all grace. Christ is also the heart of the Church because she is in the center and distributes to all the other members the gift of her grace. In this sense, He is the principle or source of the communication of grace, whose extension is universal, reaching beings whether in heaven or on earth, of all times and peoples. This place of primacy in the communication of grace ad extra supposes the fontality of the eternal Father who is principle without principle and source of life within and outside the divine life. Christ is the foundation, the founder, the ruler and principle of the unity of the Church. Faith and charity are effects of grace that incorporates us, constitutes us and builds the life of the members of the body and of the whole Church. The sacraments make visible and socialize the militant Church or pilgrim on earth and establish it as mediation of the communication of the grace of Christ and the Holy Spirit. This supernatural belonging to the mystical body by faith and charity is a necessary condition for salvation.

However, in several passages of his works from the first to the last shows richness of theological elements. The starting point in understanding the Church is always Trinitarian. This is why not only Christology but also pneumatology, that is, the doctrine of the Holy Spirit, has a fundamental place. From the foundation to the perfection of the Church, the third person of the Trinity plays a determining role. The mission of Christ in the Passion follows that of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. He acts in such a way that he makes the Church alive, dynamic, imbued with faith, charity and hope. The work of the Incarnation is the fruit of the partaking of the whole Trinity, while in the Son the Church finds the foundation and mediator of the faith, which incorporates the life of the mystical body, in the Holy Spirit we find the charity that makes the Church a place of diversity, Mutual opening, and fraternal service.

Abstract In this reflection the author exposes the relationship between mariology, ecclesiology and Christology in order to deepen in Saint Bonaventure the theological meaning of the Church in the light of the person of Mary. Because of the mystery of the Incarnate Word one can better understand why Mary is in the foundation or principle of the mediator and exemplary of every Church and every faithful member. By virtue of the grace of Christ and the Holy Spirit, Mary presents herself as the mother of God and Queen, whose fruitful motherhood continues in the life of the Church. Mary was crowned with full grace. In this sense, she has a high place, far above the Church, the mystical body of Christ. According to the merciful grace of God, she was prepared to conceive the Word, the only begotten Son of God not only in his physical body, but also in his mystical body. It is called to exercise through the theological virtues and grace the maternal care of communicating grace to all members of the Church, making it a place of fecundity, beauty and holiness in view of its mission in communicating the richness of gifts to every creature. She is the beginning, the summary, the vertex of the whole Church. All the prophecies and prerogatives concerning the Church announced by the Old Testament have already been fulfilled in Mary. The Virgin is this model of a strong woman in the faith, a fervent wife in charity towards the husband, a mother who intercedes and reconciles, disciples who put in an attitude of service and giving to their children. In this way, the Church is reflected in the Church and, looking at Mary, the Church seeks to find the true face and meaning of her Mystery.

ABSTRACT
Considering in particular the book of Hexaemeron, the author reflects the fullness of the Church according to are Boaventura.
