Concerning utilizing renewable energy at Universitas Bangka Belitung, the solar power plant is an alternative energy source that will implement. Therefore it is necessary to design a solar power plant with a monitoring system to be known at any time the performance of the solar power plant. Monitoring is conducted in real-time via a website displaying several photovoltaic parameters, including voltage, current, humidity, temperature, and solar irradiation. From the measurement results obtained environmental parameters for temperature between 26°- 56.4°C, humidity 23.6% RH - 85.6% RH and solar irradiation 4.4 W/m2 - 1281.4 W/m2. The measured voltage of 11.41 - 18.95 volts with the rated current from the load used is 0.05 - 1.5 amperes.

Kulong has an irregular landscape and contains very small amount of nutrients. Basically, kulong can be a storage place for water reserves to support the fisheries sector. But often, kulong water has poor dissolved oxygen concentration so that it is not suitable for fish growth. Therefore it needs an aeration system that can supply oxygen. The development of integrated aeration technology with floating solar panels in the kulong area is an interesting alternative solution to be developed. Photovoltaic panel as a producer of renewable energy is increasingly being utilized. The electric... more Photovoltaic panel as a producer of renewable energy is increasingly being utilized. The electrical energy produced by photovoltaic panel can be used for aeration in fish ponds located quite isolated and far from the main electricity grid. Aeration is important for fishery because it affects the dissolved oxygen level in the water. The system uses two units of 50 Wp floating solar panels and four units of DC aerator of 12 Volt/0.28 A. The measurement of solar irradiance, solar panel temperature, output voltage and current was conducted to monitor floating solar panel performance. Dissolved oxygen level measured in the water without aeration was 3 - 3.9 mg/L while after using floating photovoltaic panels to supply the electrical energy for aerators, dissolved oxygen level in the water was increased to 4.1 - 4.8 mg/L.

This is due to the consideration that the surface temperature of the photovoltaic influences the voltage and current output. The study was carried out using two units of 50 Wp photovoltaic, one of which was placed on the mainland and floating in the pond. From the test results, it is found that floating photovoltaic has a higher output compared to the output of photovoltaic on land with an average voltage difference of 1.04%, an average current difference of 1.08%, an average real power difference of 1.12%, and an average efficiency difference of 1.29%.

In their production processes resulted dye pollutan in wastewater. Most batik cual industries use synthetic dyes such as remazol brilliant blue royal which can damage the environment if discharge without further treatment. Electrocoagulation is a method that can be used as a first step in processing batik cual wastewater. In this paper, we analyze the relationship between the number of aluminium electrodes used in the electrocoagulation process and the quality of the water produced and the energy used. Wastewater quality parameters observed included pH level, number of dissolved particles, conductivity level and turbidity. Through this comparison, it can be obtained information related to the key parameters of electrocoagulation to increase its efficiency. The optimum result obtained when using six electrodes in the electrocoagulation process.

The performance of photovoltaic cells depends on the intensity of solar irradiation and the cleanliness conditions of cells. One of the factors that influence the performance of photovoltaic cells is shading. It can reduce the intensity of solar irradiation on the cells. In this study, the measurement system used two units of current and voltage sensors that simultaneously measures the performance of photovoltaic cells. In photovoltaic cells covered by a shading net with nominal shading rates of 50% and 90%, the average efficiency is 6% and 2% respectively. Meanwhile, for photovoltaic cells without covering by a shading net, the average efficiency is 11%.

Celagen Island is one of the outer islands in Bangka Belitung Islands Province. The population of... more Celagen Island is one of the outer islands in Bangka Belitung Islands Province. The population of Celagen island is 1234 people and dominated by fishermen. Currently, electricity is supplied from 1 unit of photovoltaic with capacity 80-kWp and coupled with three units of diesel power plant with capacity 100 kW. To meet the electricity needs of 1069 kWh/day, supply from diesel power plant already sufficient. But for the economics of the cost of providing primary fuel, a hybrid from photovoltaic and diesel power plants needs to be done. Hybrid power plants are one of the options to meet the electrical energy needs of geographically difficult areas to connect to the on-grid electricity network. The hybrid system with 72% of electricity from the diesel power plant and 28% of electricity from photovoltaic is very economical. The economic analysis shows that with this modeling, the cost of providing primary fuel is lower by 1228 rupiah/kWh if only using diesel power plant.

Efforts to increase operating power density at various type of nuclear reactors are programs that are being developed to improve the economic properties of a reactor. The use of nanofluids allows nuclear reactors to operate more optimally through increased critical heat flux (CHF) and increased retention capability of nuclear reactors to accidents. Thermal conductivity is a nanofluids property that intensively studied because it has not been obtained an accurate model. In this paper a nanofluid thermal conductivity model was developed by involving all possible heat transfer mechanisms. But the modification only focuses on the mechanism of nanoconvection. According to this model the thermal conductivity of nanofluids depends on the volume fraction of nanoparticles, particle diameter, viscosity, density, and temperature.

Penelitian ini menggunakan modul nRF24L01 dengan tujuan agar sepeda motor dapat diintegrasikan dengan helm secara nirkabel untuk memberi peringatan dini kepada pengendara dan menggunakan modul SIM800L sebagai media komunikasi pesan singkat dengan smartphone untuk melacak posisi sepeda motor.
