My interest I archaeology comes out of an educational background in Architecture and a love of international travel. During my forty years as a design and construction project manager (see www.Linkedin.com/in/Robert GGauld) I have been able to take time off to attend numerous archaeological field camps, field schools and conferences in Belize, Italy, North Macedonia, Portugal and Chile (Easter Island). Archaeological mapping, drawings of finds and conservation of Roman floor mosaics are my main interests in archaeology. Phone: 1 (404) 975-7587

The Report focuses on structures 4 & 5, determined to be a Maya ball court by drawing reconstruction, but includes study of Temple, structure 1, Shrine, structure 2, and additional structures 3 & 9 as it is believed they form an ensemble. Geometry of the ball court plan is studied as to sequences of delineation of the plan layout using diagonal square grid, Phi squares, Golden Ratio – Fibonacci Sequence, four-pointed star, modified Hofstetter Construction of Phi, circles and arcs with the suggestion that such were laid out with cords, arcs and equilateral triangles as opposed to purely orthogonal geometry. It is also demonstrated that the plan of Temple, structure 1, could have been similarly laid out.
