Persentase kehilangan air keseluruhan pada 2017 adalah 14,84%. Namun, jika dilihat dari jumlah kehilangan air per area layanan diketahui bahwa masih ada area layanan yang memiliki persentase di atas 20% di antaranya adalah Area Layanan I, II dan III dengan persentase kehilangan air 34,30% atau 17.030.638 m3/tahun pada tahun 2017. Bibliometric methods approach used to obtain relevancy and get the latest information of PMFCs. This paper describes the status of energy and water resources, technological developments PMFCs and how PMFCs challenges and development opportunities in Indonesia. This paper reviews the basic understanding of PMFCs development and the way to implement PMFCs in Indonesia.

A new water treatment plant (WTP) Cimenteng will be built in South Bandung, existing transmission pipelines from Cisangkuy river will be reorganized, and transmission pipeline from PLTA Dago Bengkok II will be constructed to the current Badak Singa water treatment plant. The new scenario adds 1.000 L/s to the PDAM water supply. This research is aimed to build a model of the new scenario of water distribution network with extension service area. Service areas extension is made in Gedebage as an allocation extension area from PDAM and South Bandung area (Mengger and Margahayu) considering its high pressure residue.

Bekasi is one of the Industrial district that supported economical growth in Jakarta and based on the environmental condition test results in 2004, the wells around Bantar Gebang have been contaminated by heavy metal type cadmiun (Cd). Smart city is becoming a popular concept today in delivering values of good services from government to community. Environmental damage caused by industrial waste is the potential problem that can be prevented with smart city concept. The collaboration of technologies in smart city will give the government improved way to deliver the services. In this paper, Smart city concept will be collaborated with cocreation concept to identified the problems appear in developing wastewater treatment utilities and industrial activities monitoring around Bantar Gebang. as the result, the research will identify current condition and provide the prototype of real-time monitoring industrial activities system in smart environment around industrial district at Bekasi city.

The causes of water vulnerability are land use change, rapid population growth, climate change, as well as residential and agricultural activities. In this study, GIS was utilized as tool for determining for retention basin and infiltration well zone as groundwater and surface water conservation. Several criteria were adapted from references such as SNI 03-2453-2002 and Maryland Storm water Design Manual. Several Thematic maps were developed which are slope between 8–30%; clay soil type; open space landuse as paddy field, moor, garden, etc. for developing retention basin zone. Land reclamation such as deforestation, agriculture, drainage, urbanization and residential devel... more Land reclamation such as deforestation, agriculture, drainage, urbanization and residential development has large impacts on the ecology of the surrounding ecosystems. These include the changes of animal and plant communities, as well as the changes in hydrology and hydrochemical regimes. Sarobetsu Mire, a raised bog in northern Hokkaido, is a case in point. Its ecosystem is gradually losing its natural state because of human perturbations at the surrounding area, causing the water level to decrease and threatening a change in the entire mire ecosystem. Some early signs for the change were a reduction of water levels and an invasion of an exotic plant, Sasa spp., at the westem part of the mire.

The rejection characteristic of artificial water with 10 ppb concentration of endosulfan and organochlorine pesticides from upper Citarum water shed sample were investigated with a commercial low pressure reverse osmosis unit on laboratory scale. Rejection and flux were measured with a varied operational parameters ; pH, pressure, and feed concentration. Endosulfan rejection was achieved 80% with all varied operational parameters. In this study, the ACEC reactor was used for the removal of Arsenite (As3+) contained in river water. The effects of the different anode materials and hydraulic retention time (HRT) to the performance of the reactor were investigated. The water containing 3,5 ppm of arsenite was used as a representation of river water contaminated by heavy metal. Three types of metal plates (magnesium, iron, and aluminum) were used as anode materials, while a wet-proof (30%) carbon cloth used as a cathode electrode. The reactor performance was evaluated by measuring the removal efficiency of arsenite, metal hydroxide concentration, current density, and maximum power density of the reactor. Two stages of experiment were conducted. The first stage was applying three different products of Coix lachryma-jobi (powder, chop, and straw) in the reactors filled with water from Domestic Wastewater Treatment Plant as a representation of hypertrophic water body.
