Tatiana Rosenstock
T.R. Rosenstock is a Principal Scientist in In-vitro Neuroscience, boasting over 20 years of experience in the field. Tatiana has earned an MBA Essentials from the London School of Economics and Political Science and has co-authored more than 30 publications in neuroscience, demonstrating extensive expertise in scientific communication. Her work includes over 40 articles in indexed journals and book chapters, and she has presented at over 120 scientific meetings, seminars, and congresses, providing valuable scientific support to stakeholders. Currently, Tatiana manages, executes, and oversees diverse neuroscience projects, focusing on metabolism, biomarkers, microglial function and activation, and neuroplasticity. In Academia, as a Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham, UK, Tatiana concentrated on the role of autophagy and mitochondrial deregulation in rare neurodegenerative diseases. As Associate Professor and Group Leader, Tatiana has supervised over 20 students, with her research focusing on mitochondrial, transcription, and autophagy deregulations in Huntington’s Disease, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, and Schizophrenia. She is also a skilled lecturer with more than 10 years of experience in medical and science-related teaching. Additionally, Tatiana has held significant roles, including membership in the International Relations Office, the Ethical Committee of Animal Use, President of the Internal Biosecurity Committee, and Vice-Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Health Science. Tatiana's academic training includes Post-doctoral studies at the Center for Neuroscience and Cell Biology in Portugal and the Department of Biological Engineering at MIT, USA, with a Ph.D. internship at the University of Tor Vergata in Italy. She has been awarded scholarships from prestigious organisations, including the Newton Fund, Ernest Rutherford Fellowship, and NIH.
