Many applications in biomedical engineering based on Electromyography signal (EMG) by interface t... more Many applications in biomedical engineering based on Electromyography signal (EMG) by interface that It will be used effectively within the scientific application of human-robot interaction (HRI) in a very structured and dynamic environment. In HRI applications, we principally specialize in the illustration of automaton work pieces. First, we distinguish between the assorted ideas of representational process, and that we introduce purposeful anthropomorphism to represent a person's movement for human robots, given the functional limitations obligatory by some people. Robots are useful in many ways and serve various purposes. The humanrobot interface has been acknowledged in the past. Electromyography (EMG) is the measurement of nerve signal due to the contracting muscles. In this work, a humanoid robot is controlled through electrical signals acquired from a user's arm. This work consists of three main parts, which are as follows: First, the robot arm's motion was controlled using six variable resistors in order to calculate how much effort the servo would need to move at the desired angle. Second, The EMG signals are obtained from the muscles of the hand by using sensors placed on sites on the arm, where the voltage resulting from muscle contraction and relaxation is measured, and the highest value for the voltage is taken when contracting and the lowest value for the voltage when relaxing. Third, A connection between the real human arm and the robot arm is designed in full synchronization where the results that were calculated in the first paragraph of the work were calibrated with the results that were calculated from the second paragraph.

The characteristics of lead acid batteries are normally affected by several factors such as (disc... more The characteristics of lead acid batteries are normally affected by several factors such as (discharge depth, the enclitic temperature, battery storage, transportation, and installation, etc.), in turn, affect the design of solar systems. In this work we focused on the battery's performance, cost and shortage factors and their effects on the design. Four types of HOPPECKE battery were chosen in this work. The max annual capacity shortage is changed over (10, 20, and 30) % to realize cost control assumption. The paper proved that the optimum results are obtained by using HOPPECKE H800 battery type with respect to the performance and cost in case of (30%) shortage. On the other hand, the cost of the proposed solar system is reduced by using HOPPECKE H600 in case of (10% and 20%) shortage.

The work in this paper focuses only on two of these factors: performance and cost. Three locations in three different big cities in Iraq were taken in a comparison. The anemometer height played an important role in this comparison. The comparison based on anemometer height results. Three different heights were taken. These are 9, 5, and 3 meters. As a performance, the simulation results show an effective output power at Amarah city. It was around 355kW using Northern Power wind turbine with anemometer height of 9 meters. According to cost, the lowest was at Nasiriyah city with anemometer height of 5 meters.

Four case studies, including diesel generator loading ratio, lifetime, fuel consumption and fuel type were implemented based on HOMER software. HOMER assign the lower cost combination of hybrid system components to attain the lower total net present cost for 25 years of system lifetime. The obtained results show a close relationship between system optimization and these generator characteristics.

This paper shows a smart design method of a low-cost quadcopter device controlled by a GPS. Moreover, the modern control system was designed to control the plane by creating an integration between the control unit and the PID system, which allowed the system to reach stability very fast and the peak overshoot was eliminated. However, the design, control, and optimization of the hybrid systems are usually very complex tas... more However, the design, control, and optimization of the hybrid systems are usually very complex tasks; the stand-alone hybrid solar–diesel power generation system is recognized generally more suitable than systems that only have one energy source for supply of electricity to off-grid applications. A proposed PV system has been designed and optimized using HOMER software computer model to supply a potato cooled store in Kirkuk city in Iraq. The result obtained from the optimization gives the cost of energy (COE) is 0.639 US$/kWh with 2axis trucking system and 0.692 US$/kWh with no trucking system. Energy cost is 0.796 US$/kWh when the load is supplied by the diesel generator alone.
