Sara Bao, blogger di Bassano del Grappa classe 1995.
Laureata al DAMS di Padova con una tesi su Robert Johnson e il Diavolo Blues, ho deciso di portare avanti lo studio sul fronte della musica rurale e del blues.
A giugno 2017 ho aperto un blog (Baoblog - Rocknroll398) in cui recensisco dischi e concerti. Ad oggi ho scritto e pubblicato oltre 170 articoli che promuovono dischi e band locali (Paolo Bonfanti, GANG, Mandolin’ Brothers, Gabriele Dodero, The Crowsroads, Andrea Cubeddu, Jama Trio, ecc..) e riportano impressioni emozionali di concerti di artisti internazionali (David Crosby, Mavis Staples, Steve Forbert, Tedeschi Trucks Band, The Blasters, ecc).
A Giugno 2019 ho iniziato a scrivere per la rivista Il Blues.
A Novembre 2020 ho pubblicato il libro "VOODOOBLUES - Il misterioso caso di Robert Johnson. Incroci religiosi e musicali tra Africa, America e Italia". Nello stesso mese ho iniziato a scrivere per la rivista online Mescalina.
Dal 2014 collaboro con gruppi musicali e associazioni culturali come social media administrator e, da ottobre 2018 a settembre 2021, ho svolto un'esperienza collaborativa con l’agenzia musicale A-Z Blues e con l’ufficio stampa A-Z Press.

I capitoli riguardanti le canzoni di Robert Johnson si alternano a quelli che approfondiscono l’universo magico sacrale delle diverse religioni afroamericane come il Voodoo e il Candomblè. Trovano spazio anche le polveri magiche dell’Hoodoo, le divinità degli antichi Romani, il Tarantismo del Sud Italia e le società segrete haitiane.
Ma, alla fin fine, quanto c’è di vero nel patto diabolico più famoso del mondo del blues?
