Selene Guelli Souza

Selene Maria de Arruda Guelli Ulson de Souza (Web of Science ResearcherID: A-4909-2008, Scopus Author ID 56786625500, ORCID 0000-0001-8981-3056) graduated in Chemical Engineering at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) in 1982 and concluded her Master in Chemical Engineering at the same University in 1985. She concluded her Doctor degree in Mechanical Engineering at Federal University of Santa Catarina in 1992. She made her post doctorate in Chemical Engineering at UCDavis – University of California at Davis – USA, in 1996-1997. Currently, she is a full professor in Chemical Engineering Department at the Federal University of de Santa Catarina (UFSC). She has experience in Chemical Engineering, focusing on Separation Operations, acting on the following subjects: Mass Transfer, Environment, Textile, Petroleum, Petrochemical, Natural Products, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Separation Processes and Porous Media. She has already completed the supervision of 90 M.Sc. and 67 Ph.D. students, in addition to having supervised 17 post-docs. She is author/co-author of 224 papers scientific periodicals with referees and 506 communications in conferences, with 4259 total times cited and an h-index of 32.
